The Blue Bank seemed like a risky bet based on the bi-polar reviews. However, it turned out that the good reviews are the correct ones. From my experience, it earns a solid four star rating as a fish camp in rural Tennessee. We’ve been bicycling around the north-west corner of Tennessee and the Blue Bank is a refreshing notch above... more

This was our second visit to Blue Bank, and we will definitely go again. We are not fishermen or bird watchers - just like a nice relaxing view of the lake. Room (upstairs over main building) was very neat and clean - not Hilton Hotel, but did not expect that. Pool and whirpool clean. Grounds neat and trimmed. We loved... more

My brothers, dad, and I took this trip to Reelfoot Lake years ago and we stayed at the infamous Blue Bank Resort. BEWARE if you stay do not pay for anything with cash! The cash we paid for a fishing guide (Jackie Wayne) disappeared. I stupidly paid $225 cash and didn’t get a receipt. I remember as clear as I... more

I don't know why they call it a "resort" it is a dump. We used our own boat so I don't know about this place's. Now, Reelfoot Lake is nice but this particular hotel wasn't. We're going back next year to fish but we'll camp instead of waste money staying here. After being there and reading some of these positive... more

Most of the complaints I seen had to do with the place being "run down", crappy boats, etc. Let me give you a bit of background on the place. The buildings have been there for at least 30 years and yes from time to time you will find something that needs a touch of maintenance, for example this last time... more

My family and i went down to reelfoot last week and it was fantastic. We went out with a guide the first day (jackie) and it was great we caught 40 or 50 crappie and had a great time. We had one of there cabins right on the water and really enjoyed it. My kids also had fun, they want... more

We purchased a Fishing Package and were pretty much ripped off for the prices charged. First off, if you aren't from the area the place is difficult to find after traveling many hours and back highways to get there. You would think they would have some signage along the road stating something like "Blue Bank Ripoff, only 5 miles away!"... more

We stayed at Blue Bank from April 5 thru April 10, from the time we arrived there was confusion as to how to figure out what rooms were vacant and which rooms were not., as they had every thing written on a piece of scrap paper. The weather was terrible so you would think that they would at least keep... more

We have been coming down to Blue Bank for six years now, and have never ben dissapointed. I really don't understand were any of the bad reviews are coming from. Its a southern family owned and operated buidness, and that can be seen in the hospitality throughout the staff. Me and my buddies always have a great time there, and... more

Were to start? We came down a were greated with alot of hospitality. The management went out of its way to see that we were taken care of. As soon as e stepped out onto the dock we were taken away by the view of the lake. It was wonderful. As we got to our room it was very nice... more
