The room was dusty and everything sqeaked when you moved, including the small double bed. There was a very musty smell in the room...sort of like laundry that has been sitting for a long while. The comfortor on the bed was stained.
My husband and I travel lots and try to stay in B&B's whenever we can as we like the homey feeling they give you and the great breakfast that starts your day. The breakfast we were served consisted of sliced oranges, hard waffles and bacon. It was the worst breakfast I have ever had.
Yes, they have wonderful grounds, however it doesn't seem to me that they try very hard to maintain the living areas as they should be given the fact that the house is open to the public.
We could not get any sleep for the squeaky, uncomfortable bed. We will not be returning to this B&B. more
