We brought our 2 kids here for spring break, along with the dog. We loved the hot tub, we loved the mountain view from our Pinecone cabin deck. The dog loved the trails, and the kids loved fishing in the fishing pond. They have almost everything you need in the kitchen as far as staples goes, and the meals we... More

Always nice to hear our guests have a great time ... just doing simple things... and relaxing. Kids do really seem to really enjoy the firepit and fish pond and many more waterfalls in our area to explore for your next visit (Piney Falls, Laurel Snow Falls, Stinging Rock Falls and more! We look forward to seeing you all again. More

We brought our son and dog to the Honeysuckle cottage for a weekend getaway and had a fantastic time. Although the weather didn't cooperate fully, we did get to enjoy the onsite hiking trails, and even when it was raining our cottage offered a cozy change of pace from our everyday life that we really enjoyed. Papa Phil's food is... More

So glad you found us and enjoyed your stay despite that rainy weekend! We hear over and over from folks from Nashville that it is such an easy and fun getaway. We've had many children come back over the years (with Mom and Dad!) and have watched their visits turn into family traditions. With 145 acres to explore, a spring... More

This is our place for Mother's Day. Quaint, quiet, and beautiful view. The cabin is lovely and has all the items you need or can think of to make a weekend memorable. "Dad's" breakfast is a must, and all the homemade butters and jellys are wonderful.

I found this place via a Living Social deal alert. My husband and I were getting ready for our 20th anniversary and thought this might be just the spot to celebrate. Y'all...we were not disappointed! We arrived on Friday evening later than we anticipated. Still, Ilaeka showed up with our fresh, hot, yummy, hand made by Papa, pizza. Deelish!! Inside... More

Glad you found us and had such a good time! The cottage you stayed in (Honeysuckle) is our unplug cottage! Folks leave feeling reconnected and refreshed we hear over and over again. If you need to stay more plugged in, we suggest our Pinecone Cottage which has better service. We do run specials from time to time so always check... More

If an urban-weary traveler seeks solitude and rejuvenation in a bucolic Tennessee mountain retreat, Ilaeka Villa and her father Phil Bourne provide visitors a rustic environment ideal for solitude and reflection. Because but three cottages are available, only a small number of guests are in residence at any time, and the resulting seclusion coupled with pastoral beauty are primary attractions.... More

Let's start with what this isn't. It is not a high end resort with fine city dining. We stayed at the Pine Cone Cottage, and that was a very clean and well laid out place to stay with all the amenities. We had a pretty aggressive plan to visit waterfalls in the area's state parks (Fall Creek Falls, Burgess Falls,... More

Third trip to Grandview, first time in Honeysuckle. Hard to pick one over the other, but loved this one, as well as Pine Cone. Different design, comfy screened porch (we had our meals out here), and plenty of sitting/relaxing places. We had custom, gourmet pizza, of course, two loaves of bread (one to bring home) and an extra 2 dozen... More

Love having our guests visit again and again and many of our guests "cottage" hop as you all have... discovering that each has a charm of its own! Looking forward to your 4th visit soon with the grandkids! Whether its couples, families or friends all seem to enjoy our country hideaway and Papa Phil's cooking! See you all soon! More

Views of the mountain were incredible, saw deer and rabbits in the evenings. Many thoughtful extras like fresh coffee beans, lavender soaps, cookies and chocolates. Breakfasts were amazing - pancakes, biscuits, sausage gravy, homemade jams and butter, fresh squeezed orange juice, fresh tomatoes, blueberries and peaches. Loved our stay here, and will definitely return. Thanks, Ilaeka and Papa Phil for... More

Glad you enjoyed yourselves and hope to have you back soon! Honeysuckle Cottage has a great queen bedroom on the ground floor if you are a couple. We took a little trip to the Pinecone cottage for two nights - me, my husband and our 4 & 6 yr old. The cottage was immaculate, had everything you could think of, and was extremely charming! Sounds like you all enjoyed yourselves and so glad you found us! Papa Phil's goodies are always a hit with our guests and everything he makes is from scratch!
