We have owned a timeshare at Fairfield Glade for several years, and just returned from "our week" down there in late-October. For those not familiar, Fairfield Glade is a golf-centric resort located off I-40, about 60mi east of Knoxville, TN and 90mi west of Nashville. The resort contains a mixture of condos and homes (many people have retired to Fairfield... more

We exchanged this for our Condo in Orlando because it was nearby and we wanted to relax and do some fishing, boating, etc. all of these things are available but they are spread out very far apart and require you to drive most everywhere. fine dining is available but reservations are a must. We got a 2bedroom at the Oak... more

We fell in love with Fairfield Glade and the surrounding area. The golf courses are some of the most beautiful we have seen. The resort property is lovely. The countryside is beautiful. I can't wait to go back. more

We stayed for a week on an RCI exchange; check-in was smooth and quick; very informative "counselor" on what to do (if we wanted). Unit in Stone Castle was an "A" 1-bedroom; very nice, nice deck. Charcoal grills behind units are difficult to access from unit, but there are several in parking area that are convenient. Wireless internet was glitch-free.... more

We stayed here on an exchange through RCI and could not have been more pleased. We did come for the golf, but the rest of the resort and the surrounding area was also very nice. We played at Dorchester and both courses at Heatherhurst. The staff at the courses was professional and friendly. We played twilight golf, as neither of... more

This is a great family resort. We were on a one week RCI vacation and stayed in Wellington Place. These were probably the older units I'd read about but they were perfectly fine. Clean and spacious 2 bed full kitchen with laundry. They are 2 level units so if you prefer ground floor let them know when you book. However... more

We stayed at the Wyndham Fairfiled Glade resort the week of August 11, 2008. We do not golf but there were other things to do at the resort. You have to pay for miniature gilf but you can buy a weeklong pass. The course was nicely kept. Next to it there are a couple of shuffleboard courts available for a... more

This is a very nice resort, although it is true that some sections are newer than others. It is also true that you need a car to get almost anywhere, and it is also true that it seems like a retirement community. But there are some children and young people, all the units I have seen are very nice and... more
