Beautiful location in a quaint little town. Just what you would expect on a Gap trip. There was a dress rehearsal for a play going on in the park directly across the street which was very entertaining to watch. My husband and I were traveling home from a family reunion type trip in Ohio. The two day we spent there... More

Cumberland National Park is an often over-looked national park that sits astride the historic Cumberland Gap -- and some of the most beautiful mountain scenery in the Appalachians. Located in the extreme eastern corner of Tennessee (the boundary marker for Tennessee, Virginia and Kentucky is a short walk from the B&B) in the tiny community of Cumberland Gap, the Olde... More

We thoroughly enjoyed our two nights in the Creekside room. They were extremely friendly and accommodating. I have a severe gluten allergy and my breakfast matched my non gf husband's. In fact had the best baked pancake ever! It is on the trail head so hiking was easy! They have a fridge, coffee in the morning and a keruig, and... More

I spent one night in the Pinnacle room en route to somewhere else, and I wish I could have stayed for a week. The Olde Mill is a perfect combination of best of old and new -- antique log cabin and working mill, plus all modern conveniences including the single most comfortable bed I've ever slept in. The decorating is... More

We stayed for two nights (July 24 and 25) and had a really relaxing time. Kathy was great--very friendly. The food was delicious, the room was comfortable and the town is adorable. The cookies were AMAZING. We liked that there was a fridge for guests to keep things in, and the laid-back atmosphere of the place.

The Town of Cumberland Gap, or as locally known as The Gap, is quaint and the shop and restaurant owners love to share stories and history of the area. So happy you enjoyed your stay at the Inn and based on your comments, the cookies will make a comeback. A comfortable bed and a good American breakfast await you for... More

We needed a relaxing couple of days away from the routine and this was a great choice! We stayed in the Front Parlor room on the second floor. Nice size room with king size bed. Bathroom has all amenities, but it's a little tight. Both were very clean. We opened the window next to the mill wheel to listen to... More

There is something so calming when listening to a creek as you drift off to sleep. So glad you enjoyed your stay at The Olde Mill Inn Bed & Breakfast. The Front Parlor is a spacious room and when adding a bathroom to an 1800's built property, they may not always be as spacious as you may have in your... More

We had a great, two night, stay at the Olde Mill Inn. After a very long drive from California, it was a pleasure to check in to such a lovely inn with such wonderful accommodations. We stayed in the “Cabin” and were very pleased with the comfort of the bed and the space of the room. Kathy greeted us at... More

You may have had a long drive from California but you had so much energy and kept on going as you focused on making a "nest" for your daughter. Yes, I am a nester and it probably comes across at the Inn as making your experience relaxing and enjoyable is my utmost goal. What a delight you are and I... More

Great place. The accommodations, nature, town and people are inviting, warm, interesting, and unique. Small town atmosphere with vast, beautiful nature. Trails, waterfalls, vistas. Coffee Shops, art, antiques. Not many, but good. Cumberland Gap provides a laid back , peaceful environment. We loved it. The host Kathy was wonderful and prepared delicious breakfasts.

The title of this review is a sign that hangs in the dining area, and it pretty much sums it up. This was my first stay at a BNB so all future ones have big shoes to fill. Kathy was outgoing, friendly and informative. We rode motorcycles, it rained, she offered us her car for the day. You would never... More

We walked for miles on the trails nearby. Fortunately our bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was nice but very small and unfortunately the hot water was not working and the plumber had not made it there that day. It is amazing to think that settlers and their families made it through the Gap without the conveniences we enjoy today!

So glad that you enjoyed the trails of Cumberland Gap as the beauty abounds. It is with regret though that the hot water did go out in the morning of your one night stay. Though you had departed, the hot water was back on within just a few hours and we apologize for the inconvenience you experienced during your time... More
