My friends and I stayed in a rustic cabin for two nights for a friend's wedding that took place at the park. We stayed in cabin 13, which was a one bedroom room that had two full size beds- one in the bedroom and one in the living room. There were four of us and we didn't think the full... More

Rustic cabins are dated but have character. Wall heaters, plenty of hot water. Well-equipped kitchen, plenty of fresh linens. Fireplace worked but didn't draw well. Beds slept ok. Bathroom was fine. We had two cabins. Both were clean. Lake is beautiful. We rented kayaks and hiked. Cabin was walking distance to state park restaurant, which was packed for lunch and... More

The one room cabin has only one double bed which was uncomfortable. The heater did not work. The hide-a-bed sofa is nonfunctional. Only 2 of the 4 burners on the stove worked. The floor had broken tiles. The grab bar was missing from the shower leaving 2 gaping holes which allow water to flow inside the wall. Rustic is a location... More

My family visited the park last weekend and couldn't be happier. It's the cleanest, well kept state park I've been to. The grounds were well manicured. The bath house was super clean. There were tons of activities within the campground. The RV sites are a tad closer than I prefer, but other than that, it was wonderful. This is definitely... More

My family has been coming here every 2 years since 1981, trust me if it was as bad as some are saying we wouldn't keep coming back. Yes there are upgrades that need to happen, yes the park is working on it. Every time we have had any issue it has been handled promptly and professionally. If you don't like... More

We had three cabins between our family's. Mine got infested with ants and we had all food in containers, a mouse jumped out of a couch in another onto my pregnant niece. They are all old and need updating BAD. The third cabin we thought the roof was going to cave in. We stayed 10 year ago and it doesn't... More

There is no doubt that this is the nicest state park we have ever visited. The setting is beautiful and just about every amenity possible in a state park is here. There's a gorgeous campground for RVs and cabins. Plus, there's a beautiful river where you can rent boats and kayaks. If that isn't enough stop by the huge swimming... More

I was suppose to stay in TL 2 for 7 nights, after arriving I was less than satisfied with the state of the cabin, which be it uncomfortable it was still tolerable....until the 2nd night when i was sitting on the couch in the living room and a mouse jumped out of it (literally jumped). The next day I called... More

We have stayed at Cumberland Mountain State Park twice...we love it! The campsites are roomy - we like section one for the tree coverage. The restaurant is a treat - Friday night is fish fry night. Delicious! Great bike riding - awesome pool - friendly, cozy atmosphere! A wonderful little gem in Crossville!

We stayed in the large cabin which sleeps sixteen. Sleeps eight in top room and eight more in the bottom room. Cabin is essentially and split level house. The opening hallway is where both full bathrooms are located. You then go up to top bedroom or down to bottom bedroom, living room, and kitchen. The living room has a fireplace,... More
