This was the worst hotel experience ever. Changed rooms because the construction dust was horrible in the first. Second room was barely better. Safe didn't work. Black soot coming out of A/C unit. Very surprised . The lobby is not quite finished , but our room felt like a Hyatt or Marriott. 9 foot ceilings make the large rooms seem even bigger. We had a king and it came with nice sofa,(new) large desk with nice chair and VERY nice curtains and bed linen. Bath very nice. Great value. a ways from downtown... More

This was our first stay at Wingate and must say we were pleasantly surprised. Facility apparently just underwent major renovations and remodeling. New lobby furnishings being delivered as we arrived. For the price this was most desirable accommodations we've experienced in a long time. Did not participate in breakfast bar so my critique probably unfair.

Just stayed two nights, Thursday and Friday, May 2nd and 3rd. Wish I knew the hotel was under massive renovation. The safe in the room didn't work and I was advised by the desk staff that none of the safes work. The elevators were being used by the movers to move sofa beds into the hotel rooms being renovated.
