The major plus for Alpine Lodge is it's good value. Old but comfortable and clean. Perfect for an overnighter. Staff is very helpful. They will Make your waffle for you. Located in the beautiful mountains of Tennessee. It is an hour from Nashville

Nothing really bad. Nothing really good. Old hotel with old furnishings. Carpet and bedspread were old style print so stains or dirt would not show up. We declined to sit in the recliners in the room. Very grungy. Bathroom clean but tiny. Room key only lasted 24 hours so that meant a trek to the front desk 3 days in... More

Thank you for taking the time to review my family's hotel. If you are disappointed in the size of the bathroom, maybe next time you would like to try suite. The square footage of our rooms is listed on our website, and our rooms are larger than most newer hotels. We do have Wifi in our suites and in the... More

First I will say the room cleanliness was good except for the balcony which needed swept and the little table was filthy. Being an older property there are not enough electrical outlets for today's technology needs. The television is not a flat screen so you do not get to see the entire picture on it. The continental breakfast is boring... More

The motel is located at the 'last' Cookeville exit headed west. Beautiful view, pretty quiet surroundings. Mexican restaurant with good food located in front. As previous reviews mentioned, the property could use an update. The building and rooms look rather dated, like something out of the 70s. However, the room I had was very clean and everything worked. Internet is... More

I chose to stay at this hotel based on 3 things (that I looked up on TripAdvisor): location - close to Cookeville, price compared to quality, and that I could get a suite with a jacuzzi. This was for a special romantic getaway on the cheap. My impressions are that the property is in dire need of a remodel, but... More

This is an older property that they have made an effort to make handicap friendly. The handicap room we had was a studio suite with a partial kitchen with fridge and microwave, no cooktop, a love seat, recliner, king bed. Plenty of room to maneuver with a wheelchair. Average continental breakfast. Right off the freeway. The Mexican restaurant in front... More

The best way to describe this hotel was smokey and dirty. The staff was very friendly but the rooms needed a lot of cleaning. We asked for a non-smoking room because I am allergic to cigarette smoke and I had my 77 year old mother traveling with me and she has asthma, enphazima and COPD. We did not arrive until... More

Arrived in the wee hours of the morning. Conveniently located off the freeway. We were slightly worried as one of the signs looked worn, but were pleasantly surprised when the accommodations were completely spotless. The building itself is a solid older building that the staff clearly takes pride in maintaining it to pristine conditions. Close inspection of the corners turned... More
