If you like an American Mom & Pop motel, this is the place. It is down to earth, comfortable accomodations, the owner even cooks waffles for you. The view of the mountains from your balcony can not be beat. This will become a regular stay over for us.

Let me start by saying thank you to Alpine for honoring the coupon! It was late on a Saturday and there was a special event in town that caused two other places we tried to turn our business away! Alpine was very friendly, and we got a very large nice room for a GREAT rate! You can tell they take... More

the rooms were very large, but kind of worn down. the furniture in our room was kind of worn out also. the breakfast was very disappointing and not much to choose from and we went down the road and had our breakfast. might stay again in a pinch, but not that sure.

My mom and I were booked to stay here for a week during a moving phase. At first the place seemed clean, though worn. The continental breakfast was disappointing because we came down around 9:30 a.m. to find the staff putting the breakfast away before 10:00 a.m., when breakfast was supposed to end. The dining room where the continental breakfast... More

We stayed here a couple of weeks ago. The couple who run the hotel were very nice and friendly. Our room was very large and the bed fairly comfortable. It was a very quiet location, too. It is an older hotel-but the rooms were very clean. The bathroom was squeaky clean as well! The price was very reasonable and we... More

We came here because of a coupon in one of the travel books. Didn't realize that there were LOTS of hotels just a few miles down the road. A tired room. Didn't like the rug which seemed "experienced". Bed was comfortable. Would not go here again. We did eat at a friendly restaurant in town. World Foods. Very good falafel... More

I chose this hotel based on a another Trip Advisor recommendation. Though the price was right & there was a scenic view, the room was lacking in a few ways. Bed was not comfortable and there wasn't a hair dryer. My suggestions is to get the basics. In their favor, the room was clean & reasonably priced.

If you have a sense of adventure, appreciate quirks and like a good backstory, this is the place for you! I felt a bit like we walked into the lovely trailer park in The Last Starfighter. (That is a COMPLIMENT.) Shortly after checking in, we were locked out of our room. The keycard just would not work. Prior to this... More

Haha I loved reading your review. I read the part about the waffles out loud to my mom lol. It's great to finally get the respect I deserve for my culinary skills! I'm glad you two enjoyed your stay. Sorry about the keys, but they do tend to get de-magnetized when they come in contact with cell phones. We hope... More

We had seen this place on previous visits and my sister said she had heard good things and knew the owners. I can tell you that my own experince was anything but good. Teh hotel seems to attract localsand they are noisy and rude. The room was dark, outdated and poorly kept up, which only aggravated things.
