I'm platinum with Starwood so I know their hotels well. I called to ask if there were rooms for early check in and they wouldn't even look. Got here and ended up with numerous stains on every couch, no doorknob on the bathroom door, etc. Very disappointing.

We took our dog so we git a room in the 3rd floor so it's possible our experience was due to lack of care for pet floors. With that said, the room smelled badly, the humidity in the room was gross, it took no less than 20 minutes to get hot water from the sink or tub, walls were peeling,... More

I was very skeptecal about staying here after reading all the terrible reviews. I would just like to say that everything was great! The room was huge, the bed was comfortable and they provided the BEST customer service. They were always making sure we had everything we needed. We were suprised they allowed us to bring our dog along and... More

We stayed here 2 nights for an anniversary weekend. We live an hour away in Murfreesboro, and I chose Chattanooga because I wanted to stay in a nice historic hotel but didn't want to fork out the 400+ that Nashville historic hotels charge. I was very happy we did. Usually when we travel to Chattanooga it is a day trip... More

The staff was excellent. The Valet parking and luggage staff were great to us. Location downtown made it easy to walk downtown. The older historic hotel was clean and we enjoyed our stay. I would stay here again.

Nice historic older hotel and a good location near the Convention Center. Another guest in our party was unhappy with her room on the 2nd floor as being musty but they did change her room to the 3rd floor with us. Free city provided shuttles to other parts of the city. Very disappointing though that this hotel could/would not honor... More

Recently planned a long weekend getaway in Chattanooga. Stayed July 11-13, 2014. Beautiful, well-kept hotel! Excellent staff - courteous valet, front desk, restaurant & housekeeping! Gorgeous room - large, spacious, corner room on the 3rd floor. Also pet friendly. Bathroom was a little small, but I think the large bedroom area & separate living area more than made up for... More

This hotel apparently went through a major renovation in 2004. Not much has been done beyond basic upkeep since then. It's time. We did like the fact that was a historic property and appreciated the efforts to preserve some of the old charm. The wood work in the lobby was beautiful. The old iron elevator elements were interesting. Other historic... More

Stayed here from July 16 - July 18 with my husband, 5 year old and 2 year old. Although the building is beautiful and the lobby is quite charming, it was a little too dirty for me. I observed the same giant dust bunnies in a corner of the lounge area for the entire stay. From the elevator lobby, to... More

Just had to share what a fantastic experience I had at the front desk. Spencer went above and beyond by helping fax important documents to a governmental agency late on a Friday evening (who faxes anymore? I know! Only the government... smh) Anyway, Spencer assisted with a smile and true courtesy. While we were waiting he shared tips on getting... More
