June 1, 2008. Nice B & B. Tad pricey, but in line with other places in the downtown/bluff view arts district area. Great views of the river; everthing within walking distance. Would definitely go back. more

This is a wonderful place to stay. It has quite a bit of ambience, is in the best location, and is walking distance from a number of venues. There is alot to do if you want to be busy, but it is just as easy to sit back and relax on the front porch. We stayed at the Thompson House... more
Just returned from three nights at the Bluff Inn B&B. The place has a lot going for it including location location location. The Inn is in the Art District which is in a great spot on the bluff of the river. The rooms have great views and the breakfast is outstanding. Tony's restaurant is just steps away with great atmosphere... more
The resturant is overprices and not very good, but the ambiance is quite nice. Rooms above the restaurant are very loud, very early in the morning when breakfast is being prepared and very late at night when they are finishing up dinner. It's a good location, walking distance to the Hunter Museum of American Art and the Tennesseee Aquarium. But... more
I was surprised over the great location and the inn's amenities. I highly recommend this inn for anyone. My wife an I had a wonderful time. Breakfast was good and you can walk to museums, coffee shops, riverbridge and shopping. A great weekend stay. more

This was our first stay in the Bluff District area (May 29-30, 2005). There were 3 of us and we had two rooms -- one with a... more
We stayed for 2 nights at Bluff View in the Thompson House, full cooked to order breakfast the best on our 10 day U S trip. The house was great sitting on the porch in the evening drinking red wine from Toni's next door watching the world go by and waiting for my lady to get ready for our night... more
WOW! My mother and I just spent a "getaway weekend" at the gorgeous Bluff View Inn, and it was one of the most relaxing and pleasant vacations we ever had. For starters, the District where the Inn is located is gorgeous. There are sculptures and pieces of art hidden around every corner. The restaraunts and cafe are so good, we... more
My husband and I were traveling to Florida for our honeymoon. On our wedding night, we stayed at the Bluff View Inn. It was fantastic! The room we stayed in had a beautiful balcony over looking the city and water. Our room was heavenly. We had a huge marble fireplace, sitting area, and a lovey bedroom with luxurious fabrics! We... more
