Just returned from a few days here, and really enjoyed it. The rooms are nicely decorated with antiques, and ours had a fireplace. The bathroom was clean and roomy. When we checked in we were joking about hot flashes, and the manager offered a fan--which was a lifesaver. We asked for ice and voila, we had ice. Best of all, the... More

We stayed in the McClellan house, on the third floor and had a view overlooking the Tennessee River. The river was beautiful, the room was very nicely decorated, quiet and offered everything we needed. We thought the location of this B&B was key. Once we arrived, we parked our car and didn't move it again for the two nights we... More

For our anniversary, we decided to visit Chattanooga and stay at Bluff View Inn for a night. With so many positive reviews, we felt confident about our choice to stay here and excited for our first B&B experience. The property was charming, and we loved how easy parking was and how we could walk to the river and downtown in... More

Bluff view inn consists of guestrooms in 3 houses spread throughout the Bluff View Art District. This charming district sits atop a bluff overlooking the Tennessee river, and apart from the inn's houses, you will find a few restaurants, a bakery, a coffee brewery, an art gallery and a small museum. The Bluff view Inn's houses date from the late... More

Georgia took good care of us. The place is perfectly located, overlooking the river, and easy to walk to restaurants, cafes, bridges, and aquarium. But we were disappointed with "'70s" feel to the rooms even though it's an older bed and breakfast inn. Our room smelled moldy, there was a freezing cold draft coming in through windows, rugs and curtains... More

My husband and I spent 3 days at this wonderful inn overlooking the Tennessee River in the art district. Our room was tastefully decorated with a very comfortable bed and large bathroom. Breakfasts were great at both the Rembrandt and the Thompson House. We ate dinner at Tony's which is located in the art district and close to the inn's... More

We recently enjoyed a girl's weekend in Chattanooga. We reviewed all the available B&Bs and hotels in the area and decided on the Bluff View Art District area and the B&B's they offered. The area is charming, safe, versatile, convenient... Two of us stayed upstairs in the Mabelle Thompson Suite located in the T.C. Thompson House. The suite had everything... More

We will be going back if we can. Had a great time. Innkeepers at Bluffview Inn were very nice and helpful, really went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed. Exceptional. We stayed in the Morgan Llewellyn suite which was spacious and had a little balcony overlooking the river.

The house was nice, beverage access was convenient. It's close to a pedestrian bridge overlooking the Tennessee River. The room had a large bathroom and comfortable bed. I loved the layered thick bedding also. The breakfast options were GREAT! The choices at the coffee house were nice and good. If you are there on the weekend and get to experience the... More

This was an all-round great experience!!! My husband and I were celebrating our 25 year anniversary. We stayed 3 nights in the Newell Room and loved it! The room was beautifully decorated and very comfortable. The only remotely negative feature would be the small closet space. The Bluff Inn consists of 3 lovely old houses totally redone with charming bedrooms.... More
