Only stayed one night but it was wonderful! Cindy, Cal and the charming fella who brought up our breakfast were kind and so welcoming. The breakfast was so good and a perfect portion size. The mansion is obviously historic but absolutely lovely. I will very much tell friends and family to stay and enjoy the inn and the charm of... More

Our stay at the Mayor's Mansion was an excellent experience. You have to start with the building itself. Built in 1889 with stones from the old Union Fort Wood, the mansion has 13,000 square feet with intricate wood work and flooring. The structure itself was a treat, and your stay starts with a tour by a staff member. When we... More

The Inn is located in the historic Fort Wood historic district and is quite "strollable" for those who would like to view Chattanooga's historic mansions. The owners met us on arrival and warmly welcomed us, their "concierge par excellence," Andrew, gave us a great tour of the inn, and introduced us to our room. Andrew and his red bearded colleague... Doug, thanks for your review. I appreciate your mentioning Andrew (and Cal) and their professionalism. They are two of our longest-tenured employees and we are blessed to have them. I do apologize for not executing in regards to breakfast. We normally get wonderful comments on our breakfasts. Since "breakfast" is half of our name, we should do it well!! But,... More

We stayed at the mansion with friends from many parts of the US. The entire staff could not have been more gracious. Our every request was met with a smile and they went out of their way to make our stay as comfortable as possible. Rooms were beautifully appointed and very clean. Breakfasts were delicious and, since I have food... More

If you love historic homes and the intimate setting of a B&B, you will love the Mayor's Mansion. It is impeccably decorated, has top-drawer staff, and an overall elegant feel. What an exceptional place to stay while in Chattanooga.

My daughter planned her wedding here & everything was beautiful. Cindy, the owner was very attentive to everything my daughter wanted and kept everything on track. The decor of the Inn & garden were beautiful. The food served for the wedding was a chicken & steak selection and was prepared to perfection. The room where my daughter and new husband... More

Spent 2 nights here and loved it. Would definitely stay here again and recommend it to all. Staff was very personable. Luxury bedding, clean rooms, and good food. Cook was able to make accommodations for special dietary needs.

Spent 2 nights at the Mayor's Mansion Inn...exceptional service and looking forward to a return visit! A 3 course breakfast was included each morning, but coffee and an assortment of teas were available all day. All of the staff members were very personable and really made you feel like family. We are looking forward to a return visit!!!!

We stayed here for 2 nights while we were moving our son into UT Chattanooga which is right next door. From the moment we walked in we were greeting with very friendly service, treated just like guests in their home. Check in was very quick, but we had time to grab lemonade and cookies while we got a tour of... More

Cindi and I would like to thank you for the kind remarks. Also, we would like to thank all of the reviewers who have honored our establishment with great reviews over the years. It seems we tend to respond to the negative ones and fail to honor the guests who take the time to reward us in writing for having... More

My wife and I spent two days at the mansion and loved the place. Located in a quite area, close to the college and river walk area. Also lookout mountain is easy to get too if you are so inclined. Mayor's Mansion is beautiful and we enjoyed sitting out on the porch. Breakfast the first morning was Quiche that was... More
