My husband and I stayed here for a Valentine's weekend. The inn is gorgeous inside and out. Built in the 1880's, there is plenty of history here. When we came in, we got a tour of the building and a little background about it. There is an old smoking room turned library and a beautiful dining room with Tiffany glass... More

Thank you so kindly for the wonderful review. We don't always respond to the great reviews we get, but, it hit me that if only everyone who passed through our doors left feeling "warmed and welcomed", I'm not sure I could ask for more! We have had a bit of a rough stretch of weather (for us) lately, so, "warmth"... More

We stayed at the Mayors Mansion Inn to celebrate my sister and her husband's 35th wedding anniversary and were not disappointed. Wonderful house, wonderful breakfast. We played cards in the "Gentlemen's Parlor" while sipping rum punch. Since we were there at Christmas, the decorations were just lovely.

Mayor's Mansion Inn was a beautiful and interesting place, the room we stayed in was huge and the sheets were perhaps the most comfortable I have every slept on. Public spaces were spacious and interesting (read the story about the bullet hole in the window). Breakfast was good and nicely presented. However, we were disappointed that our $159 room ended... Thanks for the kind words regarding our property. We always strive to give our guests a quiet and restful stay. However, your response to our terms and conditions leaves us a little taken back. You mention the $9.32 "service charge" and admit that you never read our email confirmation which describes all of the charges (hotel/motel taxes, etc.). Resort fees... More

I took my granddaughter to celebrate her birthday/new school year and we had a grand time! The owner suggested the "romance package" which was sparkling apple juice and chocolate dipped strawberries; color that granddaughter happy! The house is lovely and the public areas spacious and inviting. Breakfast was tasty and varied each day; all cooked to order. The staff and... More

My Wife and I, as well as my sister in law and her husband stayed here while visiting Chattanooga. This mansion was built in the late 1800s, the owners have kept most of the place original, except for obvious upgrades to maintain it as a B&B, the rooms are very nice, and the staff was excellent, I would definitely stay... Built in the 1800s, it's a beautifully maintained place. The decor depicts the time. A very welcoming atmosphere. Every room is like stepping back to that time. Loved it. My sister and her husband treated myself and my husband to a one night stay for our 35th wedding anniversary and stayed there too. Perfect place to celebrate!

We spent a three day weekend in Chattanooga in October 2013 and stayed at the Mayor’s Mansion Inn. We had a wonderful time. The staff was wonderful and pleasant. The food was excellent. The room was comfortable and large. The porch and the first floor areas are comfortable and inviting. Why am I writing this over a year later? Because... More

I had stayed at this B & B last year but was upset about a few things which affected my rating of them. Since then, I have stayed at other B & B's and now realize that in comparison, the Mayor's Mansion Inn is both an excellent value and had excellent customer service. The owners there try to ensure a... More

This B&B was built in the 1800s but it is as clean as if it were built yesterday. Lovely large rooms, with ceilings about 20 feet tall, great dining facilities, lovely library for sitting. Great history behind it. Be sure to see the bullet hole in the library window and learn the story behind it. Next door to part of... More

We loved our 2 night stay at the mayor's mansion inn. The stay was very peaceful and we enjoyed reading in the library, having a 3-course breakfast in the formal dining room and eating yummy snacks each afternoon. The staff was very friendly and catered to all of our needs. Perfect place for a romantic weekend.
