This place is beautiful. The trim and detail are just amazing! It is beautiful inside and out! The staff was very friendly, welcoming and informative giving us a tour and giving us the history of the home. Daily afternoon treats and beverage. Our breakfast was very good and they work with any dietary needs. Highly recommend!

My husband and I were married on July 31 but will not be taking our honeymoon until mid September. We wanted to get away for the weekend, but needed a place close to Atlanta so we chose Chattanooga. Neither of us had ever tried a B&B, but decided to try this place for our "mini honey moon." Excellent Choice!! We... More

After reading many reviews for this property and others we decided to give this a try. It was an excellent choice. It is a very large and beautiful house elegantly decorated with high quality antiques. This is NOT one of those B&B's that feel like someone likes to frequent garage sales. The furnishings and accessories are all high quality investment... More

I booked a room on the Mayor's Mansion website. The website listed the price of the room, lodging tax, sales tax and "service charge". The lodging tax and sales tax were properly disclosed, and under the "service charge", the booking website listed $0.00. I made the reservation. When I received a email confirmation, a 5% service charge was added to... More

This person never stayed with us and yet was still able to write a review, a review he threatened us with if we didn't credit his cancellation fee back to him. These... More

We arrived around 8 p.m. to find Innkeeper Kerri waiting with an open door and a wide smile, and she offered two tired travelers lemonade and chocolate-chip cookies while we checked in. Kerri gave us a nice tour of the ground floor -- absolutely gorgeous. Our room was beautiful, clean, and well appointed. There was only one other family in... More

First class, original parquet floors! Staff was on the ball, owner talked to us at breakfast, nice guy. They tried a new breakfast that day and it was great! We plan to make this a regular stop on our way to Florida.

My daughter and I spent two nights at this wonderful Inn. The staff were very friendly and efficient. The owners were warm and welcoming. My daughter is on a gluten-free diet and her breakfasts were adjusted too accommodate her food alergy. The owner, himself, made her gluten-free pancakes with a yummy lemon & blueberry topping and the hospitality was very... More
