The StoneFort Inn is a lovely B&B with comfortable public areas and a wonderful breakfast, both in the quality of the food and the service. Our room was very comfortable, with a cozy, tall, fluffy bed. Although the staff is small, our needs were always met quickly. The location is convenient to all downtown attractions, if you are a good... more

My husband and I stayed here for a romantic night away. It was perfect! The hotel oozes charm and character. The staff was extremely helpful and courteous! The bed was large and overstuffed...super comfy. Every room has a whirlpool jacuzi tub for two. Some rooms have balconies with jacuzis...it just depends on your price point. We loved the fresh-baked cookies... more

My wife and I had visited Chattanooga in January to scout a trip with friends for April. We visited several hotels/inns and when we went to the Stonefort Inn we were shown around by James and given a hot cup of coffee on a cold January day. When we returned in April, we were not disappointed at all as Edie... more

First let me say that I am a big foodie. The gourmet breakfast on Saturday morning is amazing. A wonderful dining room, service, and the food is amazing. The scones were my favorite. The Inn is nice, quaint, and I felt an overall great place to stay. It is kind of far from other downtown attractions such as the Bluff... more

We stayed at Stone Fort Inn this second weekend of June. It was our second stay there. It had been 5 years since we last visited and we were not disappointed. We arrived on Thursday night. During check-in, I mentioned that I was a huge fan of their scones and that I had been looking forward to them. The innkeeper... more

WOW! My husband and I loved StoneFort Inn. We recently returned from a roadtrip all around Tennessee and really enjoyed our time here. The best part....a huge bathroom with a great whirlpool tub! The only downside was our mattress slumped down toward the middle of the bed. Because I could probably sleep through a hurricane, I had no problem with... more

I and a colleague stayed at the StoneFort because the conference hotels up against the Convention Center were full - did we ever luck out! Instead of another week in a generic "big" hotel, we got non-stop pampering, with fresh roasted coffee with our cooked-to-order lavish breakfasts, huge bathtubs in our lushly furnished rooms, and the warmest and most gracious... more

We just returned from our third stay at Stone Fort Inn and as usual it lived up to our expectations. Edie and her staff are so wonderful and they make you feel right at home. The rooms have so much character and we don't mind the fact that the floors squeak. It's an old building and that's part of the... more

We just spent one night at the Stonefort Inn. In some ways it was exactly what I expected, in others it was not. There are some positives and some negatives. First off my husband and I stayed in room 29. It was large and decorated really nicely. I would recommend this room, although there is a balcony that is shared... more

We stayed here for two nights in October '08 to attend the Three Sisters Bluegrass Festival in downtown Chattanooga. The location was very good, even if not directly near the riverfront, and was within walking distance of everything and the free electric shuttle run by the city. Pros: Nice ambience, restored building, large rooms, cozy, nice bathroom with large shower,... more
