We stayed at RMCC 6 years ago and had a great experience. This time, not so great. The campsites are nice with Wireless Internet and cable TV included, but some of the staff were less than desirable. They do not allow you to bring firewood, but require you to buy theirs, only they had none! Said we would have to... More

There are literally weeks worth of attractions with which to fill your time when staying in Chattanooga. Because of such the last thing you probably want to do is spend time trying to find a reliable nights stay or a place to call 'home away from home.' That is why my family of three was so excited to find and... More

We stayed for a week (on an extended RV trip.) Kid and husband loved the wild cavern tour (on the property is raccoon cave) and the Go-kart (coupon if camping there.) Fossil panning at the cave had a good amount of rocks. Great, clean bathrooms and laundry. ($1.50/$1 dryer.) Staff decent. Wet wood, but local Ace had wood. Large enough... More

We stopped over for one night. The staff was friendly. We have a 40' Motorhome with a toad. It was very tight getting in and out of this campground. Our neighbors informed us that most of the big rigs had to disconnect the toads to get in and out. With the help of my wife we were able to get... More

Weekend trip to campground. We were placed in a tight spot. Difficult to get in and out if due to other campers cars and campers in small spaces sticking out. Full hookups in good shape. Pros: good location. Has racetrack and game room, although you can only use the game room during day hours when the racetrack is open. The... More

Best vacation ever. Because I'm a blond, and got the days messed up, we got to the campground a day early... They were very accommodating and said they would have the cabin ready in about 30 min. It was like a hotel on the inside and a rustic cabin on the outside. Great bathroom and shower. The towels were thick... More

After two weeks of Hotel stays we really enjoyed staying in a log cabin with a deck out the back surrounded by greenery! The cabin itself was a good size, with wifi and good airconditioning. The shower was the worst thing as it was pouring out in a stream and needs fixing or replacing but we got by. On the... More

My husband (Robert Everett) and I (Sherri Everett) spent 6 days at Raccoon Mountain RV Park and Campground, and I have to be 100% honest this is the BEST campground we have ever been to, and we have been to numerous different campgrounds. The OWNERS and all EMPLOYEE'S, all treated us with the upmost respect, just like we were part... More

Cabin was clean, had wifi, a place to cook, a microwave and a refrigerator. It had a lovely deck, table, chairs, and gas grill outside. Couch was comfy and there were THREE televisions. There was a strong mold smell under the bathroom sink. The beds were not terrible, but not very cushy either. I would bring a mattress topper, or sleeping... More

Thanks you guys for staying!! I am glad that you enjoyed the cabin and all we have to offer. As far as the smell in the bathroom I sent the maintenance staff to figure out what the issue was and it was a leak on the cold water line to the sink so thanks and we have gotten that taken... More

Thanks again for coming back you guys!! The mattresses are a tough situation as some like firm some like soft, we try to compromise and get something in between...Cabin 8 is an awesome cabin as it is tucked away by itself so you feel like you are away from it all. Eric Bosley- Park Manager More
