We only stayed 2 nights in an RV and spent most of our time exploring lookout mountain and it's attractions. Which were great. The campground was clean and I wished we had a chance to explore around it because there is hiking, go karts,, a very nice swimming pool and many other things to do. I used their laundry room... My wife and I stayed on our way to Missouri for family reunion. The park was clean and the staff friendly. Our problem was the bathrooms. For starters once you step out of the showers you only have about 1ft of room between the shower and the door, you pretty much have to change close inside the shower stall area.... More

This was a nice campground with several amenities if you choose to utilize them. But we used it as a base to explore the area. There is a lot to offer here and our site for our camper was quiet and easy to get in and out. The pool and playground areas were well maintained. This was just a really... More

Stayed in cabin #2. It has no water supply. We had to bring our own linens and were provided a grill on a post. All this we knew in advance and for a very reasonable price, $30/night. With all that you get a full size bed, two bunk beds with prison mattresses, a mini frig that only the freezer works,... More

We stayed here with friends on a recent weekend trip, and we actually enjoyed it here. I'll go ahead and get the negative out of the way first... the sites are really small. However, since we had two families, we used two sites, so it wasn't too bad. They have a good hiking trail here that takes you up to... More

The cabin we rented was a great value compared to a hotel room. It was very clean. Raccoon Mountain is a great place to stay with various degrees of a camping experience. It's very close to most of the things you'll want to do in the area while you visit! The people that work there are very nice, hospitable, and... More

I paid the price for full service pull thru, and put me on a site where tents usually are, yes i had water and electric but in the dirt...My Camper did barley fit and not a good site for anything. Once i said something they told me that was a popluar site. I talked to regulars and they all told... More

Family of six came up for Thomas the Tank Engine weekend. RV sites are level and picnic table is on large concrete pad which is great! Good playground(s) for our kids. We enjoyed the combo (Caving, Gem Mining, and Go-carts). Then we played in the arcade room for awhile So close to all attractions, restaurants (Big River Grill & Sticky... More

I always read reviews but in this case did not... my bad... and I have never written a complaint. We rented cabin # 1. It was turned from the RV's which was a plus as it allowed some privacy. We had tent campers... no more than 5 ft from our car. But what was most disappointing was the furnishings inside... More

My family and I spent two different weekends here as first time RV'ers. We needed a fair amount of advice and help with our RV as we didn't really know what we were doing. The entire staff went above and beyond to help us out, including driving me back and forth to an auto parts store. The washrooms were clean... More
