We happened to come upon The Crash Pad by accident. We had already booked a hotel in Chattanooga that listed its location as near downtown, but it was not. We were just driving around and found the south side neighborhood and decided that was where we wanted to be. We drove past The Crash Pad a couple times before stopping.... More

Had a wonderfully relaxing stay at The Crash Pad whilst enjoying a few days hiking in the hills around Chattanooga. Our room was comfortable and clean, as were the shared shower and toilet facilities. The staff were friendly and helpful and we appreciated their knowledgable advice about places to go and see. Can't wait until our next stay!

I was fortunate enough to discover the Crash Pad several years ago during yearly trips to Chattanooga to rock climb. I've been coming here a couple times annually ever since. They expanded to offer larger private rooms, which is a real plus. Super friendly staff, great customer service, and easy on the bank account. I can't say enough great things... More

Stayed there for the marathon. Was a great facility, good location and awesome people. Clean and top notch. Had a bottom bunk on the second floor. All different ages and interests were there. I traveled solo and it was a great way to meet people but you could also have privacy if wanted. Would definitely stay again.

I checked in for a couple of days, and stayed for eight. Next time I'll stay much longer for sure! The Crash Pad is simply superb. The bunks are great, with curtains, individual lights, shelf and power; the building is beautiful, seriously environmentally aware; the organic breakfast is superb, but above all, it is the staff that make or break... What an amazing experience! I was suggested this by a friend who lives locally and thank goodness. This place was perfect. It had everything I needed. All the staff introduced themselves and were very friendly. Organic breakfast that you make yourself, on their dollar. It had come really nice common rooms. And the wifi was steady even when I was... Wanted to try US hostel and The Crashpad was great. The bed clean and the sleeping area quiet. The bathrooms and showers offer privacy. Great value for $30 a night and close to Main St. restaurants and Chattanooga Choo Choo.

awesome hostel! Very environmentally conscious and yet very comfortable. The beds are very comfy and clean everything; bathrooms, towels, rooms, floors, etc. I would definitely come here time and again!! The hostel is partnered with other businesses including an awesome restaurant next door.

My visit was prompted by a coworker's suggestion for a multi-day work trip to Chattanooga. There were 4 of us total, each staying in a private room. The staff were incredibly friendly and gave us a nice tour when we arrived. They have limited hours (8a.m. to 9p.m.). We took their recommendation and had a delicious dinner and cocktails at... It's like the name says, 'Uncommon' as in different. It's like a hotel but it ain't. Not like a B & B but could easily pass for one due to the friendly, helpful staff. Clean, well managed by cool people who are friendly and never overbearing while I was there. The location isn't in the middle of town but it... More
