Excellent location nice room. Fair price. The market place bistro os a great breakfast stop. The only negative was the parking down the street. Had to retrieve something late at night and felt uncomfortable doing so.

We stayed here for 2 nights while participating in the 70.3 race. This is the perfect location for doing anything downtown. It was a 2 minute walk to the river where the race took place, also lots of restaurants within walking distance, right across from the aquarium, near IMAX theatre, rock climbing, trolley, etc. The entire downtown just embraced the... This Hotel Was Amazing. The staff was awesome the rooms were very clean. The hotel is in walking distance of many places to eat and close to their river walk. And just a few blocks from their AA baseball stadium. Very nice and would recommend if you are going to be in Chattanooga.

Super location for all the wonderful things that Chattanooga has to offer - short walk to the riverfront - Tennessee Aquarium and IMAX are across the street - Broad St honky-tonks around the corner with many great dining selections a block or two away - or go up the hill to watch the Chattanooga Lookouts play baseball. Parking is in... More

Stayed May 2-3, 2015. Was perfect! Front desk associates were beyond helpful and friendly. All of their suggestions were spot on for places to eat. Room was great! Had a view of the river, the ball field, the aquarium etc. Was able to sit outside on the balcony and enjoy the fantastic weather and do some people watching. Having a... More

This hotel is amazing. Great location, huge, clean rooms, friendly staff. When we arrived, we requested an upper-floor room. The wonderful staffer let us know that no upper rooms were available, but we could come back in an hour and get a nearly top-floor room. We went for a drive, stopped by a grocery store and by the time we... More

I am always pleased with the mattresses at Marriotts. We keep out home fairly cold and I'm always pleased to find hotels that can accommodate our need for cold thermostats. We rarely find them and this Marriott was no exception. I had the air conditioner on the lowest setting (50 degrees) possible and I don't think the temp fell below... More

Thank you for staying in a Marriott hotel during your recent trip to Downtown Chattanooga. I think this review is for the full service Marriott hotel located at 2 Carter Plaza. This is about eight blocks from our location. I am fairly certain that you are referring to the other property because we are directly across teh street from the... More

The rooms are spacious, clean, and quite. Perfectly located in downtown Chattanooga. Alan; the agent on the front desk went the extra mile to accommodate our needs. There were two reasons we gave four stars instead of five, first a hidden occupancy tax. It was minor, but we don't like hidden fees. Second: the sign on the door stated no... More

This is very close to the river in downtown Chattanooga. Within walking distance of tons of restaurants, the Aquarium, imax, Southern Belle River boat, Art Museum, etc. Parking is tight downtown, so you will pay to park somewhere. They have a parking garage ($8 per night) that you can access off W. 3rd Street. (don't understand the parking complaints by... More

Indian motel. Nickel and dime you for everything. Worst in Chattanooga good location but much better options. Worst service ever. Night reception (Indian guy) was totally rude and condescending. Musky smell in room. Avoid this one!!!!!
