When I entered the bathroom area for the first time I noticed there was hair on the floor, I knew it was not my hair due to I do not have any. I then notice the bathtub was not clean. The next thing I notice was the old and dated towels. The next day after I returned from a business... more

Hotel is located right in the heart of the tourist portion of Chattanooga. There are several restaurants nearby and you are a block away from the river and the Chattanooga Aquarium. Movie theater and even a minor league baseball stadium within walking distance. Perfect for the business traveler who enjoys close-by entertainment when relaxing after work. Room was clean and... more

The hotel is located directly downtown, within walking distance of several good restaurants and atttractions. Check-in took less than 2 minutes. My room had a very large, comfortable bed. Service at breakfast was quick, easy, and again the staff were superb. And of course, free high speed internet everywhere. more

We stayed here for 3 nights on our trip round Tennessee - check in was quick and efficient, however we had to park the car round the block. Parking is then added to your bill each day. The bedroom was large and the bathroom had a walk-in shower and jacuzzi. We had a good view of the baseball ground and... more

My wife and I brought my sister to Chattanooga the Sunday before Labor Day. Our stay at the Courtyard was excellant. The staff was attentive. Our room was on the sixth floor and had a great view of the Tennessee Aquarium and surrounding water. The room was clean and well ventilated. The beds were great. I had requested extra towels... more

We just returned from a weekend getaway in Chattanooga and decided to stay at the Marriott Downtown . We have stayed at the other Marriott in the Convention Center and would not recommend that location as it wasn't as nice of a property (not clean, and very dated) and also the location isn't as central to the busy downtown area.... more

Normally, I don't give bad reviews. We travel quit a bit and have stayed in good hotels from NYC to Florida to California. I've never really had a bad experience... some better than others, but none warranted a bad review. This hotel experience warrants a bad review and much, much more. I'll start with the good/okay things about the hotel.... more

We arrived 2 hours earlier than the 3PM check-in and the manager on duty informed us that he that he had only one room ready at that time. Having read reviews of this hotel online we asked if the room overlooked the river. He responded that he was sorry, but it did not. So we asked if we waited until... more

Nice hotel - close to everything in Chattanooga and right next door to the electric shuttle if you want to use it. The parking deck is also next door and extremely well signposted as to where to park, etc. Parking was a little more expensive that I had expected , having travelled from Nashville and Memphis, but the parking lot... more

My mom and I picked this hotel for a quick weekend getaway. The location is perfect!! There are several places within walking distance including restaurants, shops, and the Aquarium. Plus, the free shuttle was available around the clock to take us across the river to the art district. This hotel is a great option and I would definitely recommend this... more
