The rooms are spacious, clean, and quite. Perfectly located in downtown Chattanooga. Alan; the agent on the front desk went the extra mile to accommodate our needs. There were two reasons we gave four stars instead of five, first a hidden occupancy tax. It was minor, but we don't like hidden fees. Second: the sign on the door stated no... More

This is very close to the river in downtown Chattanooga. Within walking distance of tons of restaurants, the Aquarium, imax, Southern Belle River boat, Art Museum, etc. Parking is tight downtown, so you will pay to park somewhere. They have a parking garage ($8 per night) that you can access off W. 3rd Street. (don't understand the parking complaints by... More

Indian motel. Nickel and dime you for everything. Worst in Chattanooga good location but much better options. Worst service ever. Night reception (Indian guy) was totally rude and condescending. Musky smell in room. Avoid this one!!!!!

I am sorry to read that you were not pleased with your experience while staying with us at the Courtyard by Marriott in Downtown Chattanooga. I am surprised by your statement that our associate was rude to you. We pride ourselves on delivering excellent service to each and every guest or visitor that steps foot through our doors. I will... This hotel can't be beat for the location! Less than a block from the aquarium and walking distance to so many other restaurants and things to do! We drove to Rock City but walked everywhere around town. Small con: The pool was a little chilly for the kids. I would expect an indoor pool to be heated a little more.... More

Wonderful location in the heart of the Chattanooga tourist entertainment area. Everything you might want to do is within 2-5 blocks walking distance.....which is good because the unloading, parking arrangements are a hassle. Parking deck is a community parking deck and while it is next door to hotel, elevator crowding, odd traffic flow etc are less than ideal. Take the... More

There are two keys to a good hotel in my mind- consistency and convenience. The Courtyard Downtown are in possession of both. We regularly stay in Marriott properties, as the company provides consistently good value for the money. The hotels themselves are consistently clean, well-kept and comfortable. We've been burned in the past by staying at other chains, and finding... More

If you are in town to go to the aquarium and or the IMAX this is THE place to stay! Seriously within spitting distance (even if you are a amateur spitter) from the hotel! Everything is within walking distance. EVERYTHING. The WholeFoods is literally 4 minutes away and could probably walk to that also on a non rainy day. Parking... More

The Courtyard property is very conveniently located across the street from the Aquarium and the iMax theater. The electric shuttle, which is free transportation and covers the entire Market Street area of downtown, is located right next door. Only a few blocks to the pedestrian walking bridge. Very convenient to just about everything. Facility is well kept and clean.

The Courtyard by Mariott in downtown Chattanooga, TN is a very nice with friendly staff. It is located very conveniently to the Aquarium, I-Max theater, hosts of restaurants and downtown shuttle. Actually, the shuttle is just outside and around the corner for pick-up inside a covered area. Parking for the downtown Courtyard Mariott is also convenient. The parking is enclosed... More
