Every time we travel out of state we stay at this Hampton hotel. We have done it for many years and will continue going there, we love going there, the hotel is wonderful, the view is wonderful and the staff is great! The history surrounding this hotel is one of the most interesting you'll find anywhere!

I have stayed in many Hampton Inns. But, folks, this one is different. Local information, local history, unique public area decor, great breakfast, a fine room. When a business traveler purposely chooses a place that is not in the city there has to be a reason. And in the area are some decent 'folksy' restaurants. It is different and I... More

Each hallway and stair case is full of pictures, art and things from the past. And if that is not enough, there is antique furniture and pieces everywhere, inside and out. And lets not forget the lamas on the hills outside. Never ever experienced anything like it before!

This place had all kinds of historical artifact and pictures of the area all over the walls of the Inn. I got a very good walk just walking around the Inn looking at the photos and displays. I was some what knowledgeable of the area but this went way pass what I knew. It was a great place to stay.

As one travels on I-75 north of Knoxville there are many hotels, but not any more comfortable than the Hampton Inn in Caryville. It is very clean and comfortable with a great breakfast room and wonderful support staff. The room was without fault. The only negative is if you arrive on a Sunday evening, restaurants aren't plentiful. Hotel recommended a... More

My husband and I stayed at this Hampton Inn on our way to Florida. It's in a great location, easy to get to, and has a nice view of the mountains. Our room was nice and super clean. The staff was friendly, and the continental breakfast had lots of selections - cold and hot. We'll definitely stay here on future... More

We're from Canada and we experienced true "southern hospitality" staying at this hotel! They exceeded our expectations - starting with the view - spectacular. Everything outside and inside were very interesting and had a lot of character. I wish we were staying longer so we could have read everything on the walls. The history and pictures were all awesome! Everything... More

The rooms are very clean and updated. The hallways are the best part though. Full of old pictures, newspaper clippings and antiques. The hotel is on a mountain and the hallways are ramped to get you to the flat areas. It's different and makes the place even more unique.

The state park is just down the road and they have a restaurant that gives you 10% off if you stay at the hotel. The rooms were very nice and the staff very friendly and helpful. The owner was there when we stayed the second time and we loved hearing about the history of the "Jacket" and things decorating the... More

This hotel isn't your typical Hampton. I stay at them frequently for my business trips. This one in the mountains of Tennessee, is outdated, but very clean. The rooms reminded me more of my grandmas guest room as opposed to a Hampton Inn room. I actually mean this as a compliment! Nothing fancy, but somehow it was still homey. Maybe... More
