I, my family and friends rented a pontoon boat in July from Birdsong. When we boarded the boat, we noticed that most of the seats had holes or rips and they were duct taped to cover the areas. Before we pulled out, we noticed that the radio onboard and the gas hand did not work either. During our trip, we noticed that the engine did not idle correctly and it would shut off at times. When we returned to the dock, we let them know that we were displeased and most of the people we talked with were extremely rude. We were also told that we should not have left the marina if we were not satisfied with the boat. We guessed that most of the rented boats were exactly like the one we had, so why delay our start and request a new boat. We were promised a free day trip for our trouble, but I'm not holding my breath. Also, the website is not current. We had to pay an extra $10 for the pontoon rental. more
