We had never experienced a B&B before this trip in June, 2014. We found the experience to be better than expected. The house was beautiful, full of history, and welcoming. We stayed in the Helen Suite. Our hostess had placed a fragrant magnolia flower in the room which smelled wonderful. The room was larger than the photos indicate. We had... More

WE spent two glorious days at Pinhook, May 16-18, 2014. Ellen is the best hostess, her breakfasts are to die for. The room we were in (on the first floor, the Jannine Room) was quite spacious, more than adequate bathroom, and one of the most comfortable king-sized beds we have encountered outside of our own home. And, Audrey the Bassett... More

My husband and I stayed at Pinhook Plantation House March 21-24th, 2014. We were on the last leg of a two week vacation, topping it off by surprising our granddaughter for her 16th birthday. Ellen, the plantation's owner, was so accommodating to our arriving late but much to our surprise, refreshing lemonade and cookies greeted us upon our arrival. You... More

We just go back from Pinhook. My husband and I have visited Pinhook Plantation House for many years on our anniversary and somtimes birthdays...Ellen is an excellent hostess and the breakfasts are great and bountiful. We missed her the last time we were there, but she's back and as fun to talk to about the history of the house as... More

I fell ill 3 days prior to my reservation date. After being sick 2 days, I went to my doctor because I continued to get worse. I was diagnosed with the flu. I immediately called Pinhook Plantation because I had been advised not to be around others as I was still considered contagious. I was told by the owner that... More

My husband and I celebrated or anniversary there and we're very glad we did! We were treated extremely well and felt very well pampered. The food was excellent. ..from the gourmet food to the chocolate truffles and handmade goodies. The history of the plantation was rich and interesting. An overall great paved to retreat.

My husband & I celebrated 2 years of marriage with a 4 night getaway to Pinhook. The house is incredible, one of the finest plantation homes I have seen, and VERY well restored and maintained. The suite we were in was huge and we enjoyed being in the room as much as anything we did in TN. Caution for those... More

My husband and I stayed for 3 nights in the Helen Suite, and really enjoyed our accommodations. We had a full bath in the suite as well as a mini fridge. Debbie and Valerie have just taken over, and they are doing an excellent job. Our room was very clean, and we greatly enjoyed our country style breakfasts. The biscuits... More

My husband and I went to ride the train in Etowah and see the color of the leaves on the mountain and of course to try a new Bed and Breakfast. The Pinhook B & B is run by new owners Debbie and Victoria. Having just taken on the new ownership, they did an excellent job! The house was very... More

I had a great time at the B&B. I was very relaxed and the new owners are awesome. They are very helpful about what is around the area and very honest about what they don't know. The food was wonderful and if you need dinner they will make a delicious soup and sandwich.
