We enjoyed our stay in the Family Memories room. It was definitely a great way to start our trip down the Smokies in Tennessee. While we had some complications with special circumstances with the reservation, Vikki made every effort to resolve things and make our stay very enjoyable. She also gave us several ideas of things to do and places... More

We arrived to the Iron Mountain Inn during an unusual April Snowstorm, and marvelled at the beautiful views, with white frosting on the trees. It must be stunning in Summer and Autumn, we thought. Our room, the equestrian was very comfortable, well decorated and above all very clean. The bathroom had a great jetted tub as well as a steam... More

The is the best place to stay in Butler, Tennessee because the place was beautiful and extra clean. It was also very roomy and it felt like we were right at home. The beds were also very comfortable and finding comfortable beds has always been a problem for us. These beds felt like we were at home. We were so... More

There are not enough superlatives to describe the Iron Mountain B&B. The log home is a stunning surprise as you wind your way up the mountain to the end of the road. It is large, warm, perfect for its surrounding, beautifully decorated, and owned by the amazing Vikki Woods who welcomes you with open arms, wine and cheese, and a... More

The inn was very comfortable and tastefully decorated. It sits atop a mountain surrounded by woods and mountain views and we found it very peaceful. We also liked that fact that it was close to both North Carolina and Virginia and that we were able to make day trips to attractions in those states without having to drive very far.... More

What a beautiful place!! Words really can not describe this wonderful property. You feel at home the minute you walk in the door. Our hostess Ms. Woods is a delight and her breakfasts are excellent. I don't like eggs but her French scrambled eggs are to die for. If you choose to have dinner at the Inn you will be... More

The Creekside Chalet has it all -- just like home only better! This beautiful rustic cabin is nestled in the woods next to a creek. Peaceful and perfect for getting away from our hectic lives. Every comfort was anticipated and our host Vikki couldn't have been nicer or more helpful. We also got to experience her amazing cooking and the... More

The proprietor of the B&B was extremely helpful in getting us information on what to expect on our trip to Butler, TN, and more specifically, the Iron Mountain Inn B&B and Creekside Chalet. We decided to elope there in August of 2005, with our dog J-Mo being our witness. She had put us in touch with a local fellow who... More

This was a wonderful getaway. The food prepared by our host was exquisite, the lobster bisque one night was amazing. We actually found the bottom of the "bottomless cookie jar" while there, but it was quickly refilled. And those were amazing too. It was a very romantic place, and I swear the sky had stars in more places than it... More

Summer heat has given way to summer rains. But no matter, plenty of hours for hiking, swimming, boating, biking or exploring these beautiful mountains. When you visit the Iron Mountain Inn B&B, there are not enough hours in a day or a week to accomplish everything there is to do in Johnson County and surrounding states.
