The Inn was exactly as it appeared online inside & out, actually even better in person. We felt comfortable the moment we got out of the car & Ms. Vikki was on the porch to greet us. Our room was very clean & the bathroom was spotless.....important to my girlfriend. Accommodations were upscale & very comfortable with many amenties. We... More

My wife and I stayed here on Veterans Day 2011 and I must say that Vikki really honors Veterans. From the moment we arrived to the moment we left we felt like VIP's. Her motto, "Pampered to Perfection" is right on target. The room, the views, the Inn, the service is excellent. We cannot wait until the weather gets warmer... More

My boyfriend and I visited during the first couple of weeks of October, and the views and colors were amazing. There is a hiking trail behind the Inn, along with a creek you can hear from your room if the balcony door is open. It is very relaxing and we felt welcomed as soon as we pulled up in the... More

Vikki's Lake House is the absolute greatest place to spend a week. A week is the shortest time you will want to stay - and then you will be trying to figure how to extend your vacation. Our family vacation this past summer was spent at the Lake House and the Creekside Chalet. Our children and grandchildren all fell in... More

After talking with Vikki we decided to extend our Two night stay to Five nights and are glad we did. She offered us the Creek Chalet and even the Lake house but decided we wanted to be pampered at the Inn. The Steam (or Menthol )Shower complete with separate tub was glorious. The porch view wrapping around the Inn was... More

Vikki is the nicest host anyone could hope for. Her cooking is amazing and the mountains were beautiful in October. We even had the joy of watching the sunrise from our bed! I definitely recommend Iron Mountain Inn for anyone in need of a vacation from city life. More

We really like the Iron Mountain Inn. We initially got a living social voucher for the Inn, but due do some overbooking issues we were given the Creekside Chalet to stay in, but had our breakfast, and the dinner at the Inn. Vikki was very accommodating, and friendly and the location is amazing. The views from the Inn are breathtaking,... More

The location of this bed and breakfast is beautiful and definitely away from all "civilization". We went for a romantic overnight get-away. Like many of the people rating, we went through Living Social, so for the price, we got good value. Would I go back with another Living Social voucher? Maybe. Would I go back at "full price" though? Probably... More

My husband and I love riding in this area and the Iron Mountain Inn was perfrect as a base location. The ride to and from the Inn was wonderful from Northern Virginia. We stayed in the Chalet which has a full kitchen and Vicki said that she would stock with groceries if requested. The hot tub was a nice plus... More
