This was one of the worst notes I have ever stayed in. Do not let the beautiful lobby fool you. We stayed on the first floor, with access to the lake from our room and the view was gorgeous. However, the second you stop off the elevator you are greeted with a nasty smell and an incredibly dirty hallway. The... More

We stayed in a cabin for two nights at MB State Park. From the moment you walk in you get a general feeling of uncleanliness. The showers were filthy , the refrigerator didn't work ( actually the freezer didn't freeze the ice) The cabins have a nice "OUTDOOR" fireplace but who needs that when it's really cold out that will... you will enjoy the hotel and the view that it offers. The food in the dining room is excellent. Internet is better if your room is closer to the elevators near the front desk. a great trip for you and your family

The setting on the lake couldn't be more serene or beautiful! The physical condition of the facility and rooms needs some TLC. We had many similar functional deficiencies described in other reviews. The Inn needs a refurbishing to be sure! Unfortunately, the food was some of the worst I have ever eaten anywhere in the world and the service was... More

Stayed here for a stay and play package for golf. Over priced for what you get for rooms. Free WiFi in the lobby, restaurant area only. Zero connection in our room (2nd floor) or once out of the lobby area. Staff where all nice and helpful. A welcome sign that leads you to the front desk would be helpful imo.... More

We camp at the park all the time it is by far one of our favorite locations. The staff is super friendly and ranger Tim always makes sure you have everything you need. Rangers make several trips through camp found a day to check everything out bathhouses are good and it's a good cozy campground, I do have a love... More

Had fun staying here with the kids - enjoyed the lake - paddle boats and kayaks, crawdad hunting in the creek, playgrounds, hotel pool. We were disappointed with the lake swimming area - small and too much goose poop. Food was cheap and adequate with a lot of variety. Kids liked the soft serve cream. Also ate at nearby Catfish... On first arrival the Villas looked amazing. When we went in ours though we realized they never finished cleaning it and left a trash bag in the living room. After the first day we were locked out, after waiting for an hour my boyfriend had to break in with a barbeque tool which the maintenance guy then laughed and said... More

Wife and I stayed overnight on June 24 just as a get-a-way. Montgomery Bell is a beautiful state park. Beautiful woods, great hiking trails, inexpensive boat rentals. The Inn is a typical state park inn, dated but clean and neat. Room was comfortable, a/c worked great, very quiet on the 5th floor. Beautiful view of Acorn Lake from private balcony.... More

We just left here after staying 4 nights. The first night we were in room 105, a non smoking pet friendly room with a nice view of the lake and a door to go straight outside. The door stuck and the air didn't work. The water pressure in the shower was good but took 10 minutes to warm up then... More
