Wife and I stayed overnight on June 24 just as a get-a-way. Montgomery Bell is a beautiful state park. Beautiful woods, great hiking trails, inexpensive boat rentals. The Inn is a typical state park inn, dated but clean and neat. Room was comfortable, a/c worked great, very quiet on the 5th floor. Beautiful view of Acorn Lake from private balcony.... More

We just left here after staying 4 nights. The first night we were in room 105, a non smoking pet friendly room with a nice view of the lake and a door to go straight outside. The door stuck and the air didn't work. The water pressure in the shower was good but took 10 minutes to warm up then... More

It makes me sad to read the negative reviews about this place. It's a state park, run on state budgets, so it is not like a chain motel. Yes, it is old, but the history and natural setting of it is what makes it charming. Yes, it could use new carpet, and some updating, and there may be some bugs... More

Just had the sat night buffet, best buffet I have been at in many years, Excellent, 5 star! Tennessee State Parks are some of the finest in the nation no doubt. No entrance fees, great employees, well kept facilites. I spend many nights in TN state park lodges and always am impressed. GOOD JOB TENNESSEE !

We stayed four nights at the Montgomery Belle. The park is so large that to really enjoy it one must drive to specific areas and get out and explore. Good place to hike some of the off the road trail or just walk along the paved roads within the park and use some of the shorter foot paths.

The only reason to stay here is if you are there for a conference and need to be on site. The rooms are outdated, looking like they were decorated in the 80's with their light oak and fat tube TV's. The private balconies with a view of the park are nice, though even there the seating is not padded or... More

Nice brunch. lots to choose from very good salad bar, and a great price 77.50 for the whole brunch. The wait staff could not have been friendlier, down home hospitality at it's finest. All the items on the buffet, were well prepared. Some real southern dishes too, like Ochoa stew ( SRY I didn't try it, maybe next time. )... More

I just returned from a business trip where I stayed at the Inn at Montgomery Bell State Park. The food is always fantastic there. The rooms need some renovation. I think they may be in the process of renovating some of the rooms, but mine wasn't one of them. The room was clean, but there were some cracks in the... More

The Southern buffet at the hotel is excellent. They keep the food bar stocked on Sunday lunch hours. The view from the lodge/hotel is beautiful. There is swimming and golf. The park is an older one and the new cabins are a welcome improvement.

I took my family to stay here. The place is a nice place to stay and we had a beautiful view of the lake. It is the place where the Cumberland Presbyterian Church started and was a overall good place to spend the evening we had 2 full beds in the room and no refig or micro. Dickson is not... More
