Our family took the Wild Tour with Roger, the owner. He was an excellent guide. While my children (ages 16, 13, 10) were eager to try all kinds of tunnels, I was not eager to try anything too small and he was able to accomodate all levels. We originally were supposed to go to Worley's (Morrill's) Cave with Mountain Adventure Guides, but they stood us up and the guide never showed at the meeting place. Appalachian Caverns are just a few miles away and we called up last minute. They were able to take us on the Wild Tour with only 10 minutes notice (and this was a weekend of a nearby NASCAR event). Roger and Susan, the owners, were great for setting my nervous mind at ease and Roger was able to guage very well what each person was able to do. We spent most of the 3 hours off the normal (colorfully lit) cavern tour. Sometimes it was just over the railing, so tourists could see us exploring the side passageways.
