Welcome Valley Village is a gem........our favorite spring destination........just completed our 6th visit. The 5 cabins are situated on 17 wooded acres along the Ocoee River and the adjacent Cherokee National Forest. The cabins are spotless, with well-stocked kitchens, comfortable beds, fireplaces, and other extras. Hosts, Kevin and Jenny Rodgers, are ever-so-helpful in making connections to the many Appalachian attractions... More

Welcome Valley Village was beautiful, very well maintained and a perfect spot for our large family. So relaxing to be right on the river. We stayed so that we could see our children at Lee U. and will definitely be returning to stay there! Very satisfied.

Our group of friends have stayed here many times. This was one of the best. The cabin was so clean and well stocked with supplied items. Knowing the area had been hit several times with ice storms during the winter, I was amazed with how clear the property was of limbs. The owners had already planted spring flowering plants. I... We booked the Pines cabin for Valentine's Day, and I could not have imagined a more cute and romantic place to spend the day/night. The hammock and fire pit by the river was so beautiful and relaxing, and the fireplace inside was so warm and cozy. The tub in the living room was positioned perfectly by the fire, and so... More

I had been to WVV before for a 1 night girls PJ party. That was lovely, but the village really shines when you can spend 3+ days there. We spent the first 2 nights kid free and the last night retrieved the kids from my parents. We had such a relaxing time that we were great and engaged parents playing... More

My wife brought me here for my birthday weekend. It was perfect, best gift ever. Sitting by a fire and watching the river go by felt like I was a million miles away from all the stress and worries of life. This is such a perfect location, secluded but easy to get to restaurants and grocery stores. The cabins where... More

I booked 4 adults at The Pines cabin for a week in mid-October. The plan was to relax, revel in the fall colors, hike, fish, and bike (on flat surfaces!). We loved the cabin! It had a front porch swing that looked out over our own fire pit where we made chili in our Dutch oven. The Ocoee River runs... More

I've stayed at Welcome Valley Village twice, both times with a large group of people. I can't wait to come back with my family. The cabins are beautiful, clean, and wonderfully decorated. The first time I stayed in the loft of Ivy Cottage, which was nice, but really suited for kids. This past time I stayed in Ocoee House, again... More

I brought my two boys to stay in Cherokee Ridge cabin. It was clean, well-stocked, and there were several thoughtful additions that the owners had made. They left a notebook full of maps, activities, and (especially helpful) menus. Restaurants, grocery stores, and rafting are really close. Kayaking on the Hiawassee was a little farther away, but only 25 minutes. The... More
