I have passed by this location on my way from Chattanooga to NC for the last 45 years, and it is not a place I would have considered staying just from what I could see from the road. However, a friend who had been visiting me in TN stopped in on her way back to NC and checked it out... More

We stayed in the large cabin here overlooking the lake. So beautiful! Peaceful, restful! This is a basic cabin but is decorated so fun and pretty. Needs to be called Pottery Barn cabin. Comfortable and has everything we needed except time to stay longer!

It felt like we had stepped back in time, but found new, good stuff in the rooms. Since the pictures I've viewed online, the rooms have been masterfully updated. Yes, they are small. Yes, they have old windows and old pine paneling. And yes, the bathrooms are tiny. BUT...this you've got to see! We rented room #5 & #9 and... More

I just stayed in cabin #15 & this is the 3rd summer in a row that we have stayed there. They have made some improvements each year which are definitely a plus. This cabin is rustic & simple but the location is great and the peaceful & relaxing atmosphere are wonderful. My only negatives about this particular cabin are the... More

We stayed in cabin 8 for one night. From the outside, we were a little nervous about it...but it turned out to be nice inside. The cabin was lakefront, right next to the marina but boat traffic wasn't an issue and we weren't disturbed by marina noise. Inside - the cabin was clean and well stocked with thoughtful touches. All... More

Hotel was simple but clean. Economically priced. We grilled on deck by lake. In morning had breakfast in swing overlooking Lake outside room Very peaceful and quaint. I slept 10 hours-a rarity for me. Would definitley stay again.

This was our 12th year to stay in cabin 7. In the last couple of years, the management has made huge improvements both inside and out. The cabin is small, but has enough space for two people. Four people would be crowded, but possible for a short stay. The back porch is the best part - it faces south and... More

I have mixed feelings about this location. It was obviously old, probably from the 50's and I like older buildings. It is right by the lake, love that, even though the view from the hotel is the marina, for a really good view, you have to go across the parking lot. The staff is friendly and the hotel quaint. But... More

Dear Travelwriter52, Thank you for taking the time to review our property. We have been updating our facilities for the past 3 years now and started with our cabins and have completed a few motel rooms. We were not able to get rooms 5, 6, 9, 10, 11, 12 & 14 done last fall & winter but have begun work... More

My family- three small children and my husband and I- stayed for five nights in July. I have never had a more relaxing vacation. The days were warm but not too hot, the nights were cool- the lake was clean and refreshing. We stayed in cabin 7 and had the dock on the lake pretty much to ourselves the entire... More

We found the price & convenience of the Ocoee Inn good, but the room was old and worn, with peeling wallpaper, hole in the linoleum near the tiny bathroom where the floor boards seemed to be rotting underneath, and the carpet had not been recently vacuumed. The motel was more like connected cabins, and was 75 feet from the marina... More

Thank you for taking the time to review our property. We are in the process of updating all of our cabins and motel rooms. We have updated 4 of our cabins and 4 motel rooms and still have plans to continue some improvements in those facilities as well as the ones that have not received attention including the unit you...
