If you expected the Ritz, you'll be disappointed. Clean and comfortable. Only one wastebasket which was a pain and the vending service bit. Continental breakfast was good, but no do-it-yourself waffles. more

We had a nice stay at this hotel. The staff was nice to us... the pool was nice and the breakfast was good... more

I agree with most of the other reviews of the hotel. The front desk staff are not particularly friendly and helpful but that doesn't bother me too much since our dealings with them are limited. The rooms are old and worn but as clean as can be expected given the age and condition. The room was minimal, the beds not... more

We stayed in several facilities during a 10 day trip through four western states. Of all the lodging arrangements we used, the Best Western Plains Motel in Wall, SD, had the rudest staff that we encountered. First, they seemed oblivious to the fact we were standing at the admittance counter (though they were only four feet from us and were... more

The room was nice and clean and my kids enjoyed the large indoor pool. Breakfast was pretty good. We stayed in 6 BW during our trip to SD and WY. This was our most expensive but not our nicest. I guess being close to the Badlands jacks up the price. more

Good overall, average breakfast, but if you want internet service, skip this one. The service is fast, but filters out a lot of mail and web. I couldn't get The Washington Post web page, but I could get The Baltimore Sun??? Unlike many BWs, they use the central BW service which is to be avoided. They even filtered by out... more

We stayed here for one night. This was during a big motor cycle rally in a neighboring city. Surprisingly, we found the staff excellent, and the room, clean, comfortable and quiet. The folks staying here were respectful and friendly. It rained the night we stayed and I noticed that morning the staff had put towels on every motor cycle so... more

Just an average motel, but felt the $104 rate was pricey for value received. Adequate breakfast, but nothing great. Front desk clerk was less than cordial upon check in. Two weeks after stay checked with BW Gold Crown Club and found points had NOT been submitted. more

The room was spacious and comfortable and had a micro. and ref. However, the carpet was dirty and there was dust on some of the furniture. It is an older property and a little aged. When the people in the room above ours walked it sounded like the ceiling might come down. The breakfast was also rather skimpy. Overall, too... more

Stayed at this hotel for one night on a three week vacation and it was one night too many. The place was filthy and the woman at the reception desk was beyond rude. Do yourself a favour and keep driving to Rapid City for much nicer hotels for the same price or less, This place is a real dump. more
