There were bugs everywhere, on the headboards, bathroom floor, bathtub and window sills. The room was not clean and we didn't want to stay but had no where else to go, The breakfast was not great, soggy scrambled eggs and greasy patty sausage. This is an older motel that needs to be updated and cleaned.

Smelled terribly of cleaning solvents. Got used to it, but it stayed with us all night. Overpriced as usual in tourist traps. Room was narrow and tight. Air conditioner worked okay after we moved the table away from it (blocking the door then). Internet connection was very slow. Our room was on the second floor, with no elevator - tough... More

We stayed one night on our way to the Black Hills. This is an older motel but we found it to be clean and run like a well-oiled machine. We had stayed there 12 years ago and it was still probably the best in Wall. We had a ground floor room which allowed us to park our motorcycle at the... More

We stayed one night in late July while visiting Black Hills/Badlands. The complex is very clean, very organized. We got the feeling from the moment we arrived the front desks (2 very stern and direct ladies) that things would go well for us if we didn't ask any questions and followed their rules. They were efficient, but curt. Not like... More

I apologize for the sternness of my front desk clerks. this is not the norm for us and they will be spoken too. Please give us another try if you head this way. We appreciate your comments so we can try to use them to help better our service. Jackie Heathershaw August 5, 2014 More

Considering that Wall is a tiny town near the South Dakota Badlands, this was a nice find. We were very pleased with our overall experience. Nice amenities and a good breakfast to get the day started.

We were given a downstairs room when we asked for an upstairs one; we checked in at 4 p.m. which was not late. There must have been a couple of 800 lb. gorillas staying above us. We could hear them even through earplugs. There were flies everywhere including in the room. The bed was lumpy, there wasn't a refrigerator or... More

Nothing special but it beat sleeping in a tent in the Badlands with tons of Mosquitos and 90 degree heat which was my other option. Staff were friendly. Place shows its age - dark, slow Internet, old mattresses. But it was clean, which scores well for me. I would stay here again if I needed a place while passing through.... More

The room was very nicely decorated very and clean. Due to there wells, the water doesn't get cold, but plenty of ice. I could not stand the soapy taste of water, so bring your own to drink. The check in was good, the staff was very friendly & helpful. Small bathrooms, and beds not very comfy. Breakfast was so so,... More

This hotel is one of many hotels located in Wall SD for travelers on their way to Mount Rushmore. The check in was pretty quick and they do have a limited WiFi. The parking lot is not very big and they were filled with families and group travelers. The beds were comfortable and the rooms were clean. They do have... More

I would recommend this hotel, as the rooms are spacious and clean. We enjoyed the indoor/outdoor pool very much. Our stay was brief, as we were on our way to the Black Hills. Reasonably priced and includes a continental breakfast.
