This motel was family run, clean, and affordable. The owners were friendly and helpful. It's located right in the middle of Wall, SD...just outside of the Badlands, five minutes from Wall Drug, and within walking distance of a bunch of restaurants.

I connected to their WIFI at a nearby restaurant so I knew it was good. Seemed like brand new sheets on comfy bed. Very clean. Big bathroom. Charming and a good price. We would gladly stay there again.

It's an old motel independently owned...which we like. But, I was disappointed in this motel. The rooms had good beds but the air conditioning sucked and it was kinda smelly. But the worst thing was the price. For what we got, it was way overpriced.

A friend and I stopped at this Motel after driving 11 hours straight, heading to a wedding. It was tiny and quaint, dated, yet fantastic! Our check in was easy and it was inexpensive! We enjoyed sitting outside and having a drink or two after our drive and wouldn't hesitate to return to this motel upon another visit in the... More

The sam gentleman has owned this motel for a long time and it has one rate and dated but good clean rooms with good beds and pillows. I would stay here again. I think it was $89.00 which was the best in Wall.

Stayed the night here as I was passing through the area. It was clean hotel. The furnishings were very dated, but it added to the atmosphere. They were thorough and worked to ensure I was satisfied. That's what made this place enjoyable, its character.

Clean and comfortable room, very nice staff, clean bathroom. Only negative is the bathroom sink had very little water pressure. The bathtub and shower had great pressure with plenty of hot water. Will stay there again no problem.

Welsh's is not untypical of many independently owned/operated hotels across the great west. You need to make your reservation by phone, there is no wi-fi, and the rooms are clean, but in need of a major league "refreshing". The Welsh is convenient across the parking lot for the Wall Livery so you can get drinks, snacks, and if you wish... More

Nice owner('s daughter). The room smelled a little stale at first, but we left the window open for a few and it was fine. Besides, it was at the end of what's obviously a very slow season. Our shower head was broken, but she hadn't known about that. Good sized rooms, nice tvs, comfortable beds. Recommended!

Very nice property. Clean room. They are on the small side may not be best for large families unless they have double rooms, not sure. Has the historic feel of a 1950-60 hotel with the neon sign. Was more than we expected and for the price of our room, location of motel it can not be beat.
