If you're stopping in Wall overnight, stay here. I'm not really sure how new the cabins are, but they appear to be brand new.... very clean and well-appointed. From the outside they appear somewhat small, but there is plenty of room in each one (much more room than a typical hotel room). The bed was huge and comfortable, Wi-fi worked... More

We had a nice 1 night stay. The cabin was just as they said it would be. Plenty large enough for the 2 of us and very clean. The continental breakfast was quick and easy. The fiew from our front porch was great and relaxing. I would recommend this stay for anyone.

Have to agree with all the good reviews of these cabins. The rooms are very large with a sitting area as well as a comfortable bed and desk. Our view was over a hay field that gave a country feeling. A little concerned about having a tree in almost every parking space. We didn't notice any noise either from the... More

Stopped here for just one night on way home from the Black Hills. We had originally reserved a King room, for some reason upgraded to a kitchenette for the same price, but no complaints about it. This place is a hidden gem. Great western decor, spotlessly clean and very, very comfortable. The price was outstanding. It was great being able... More

We stayed two nights and used Frontier Cabins as our "base camp" for exploring Badlands National Park. The cabin was very clean and tastefully decorated. Breakfast in the morning was good. The conversations with the other guests and the breakfast staffer was beneficial on what to see and do in the area. Either the bed was super comfortable or exploring... More

Was looking to book my 50th Birthday vacation for Summer 2015. Thought I would get an early jump on the reservation process. I completed an online reservation request. Three days, and no responses later, I decided to call the toll free number directly. I called and proceeded to get a busy signal 8 times over a 30 minute time span.... More

Probably we'd have rolled into town (on motorbike of course) and stayed at one of the several chains. 'Play it by ear' is how we travel normally. But so glad we looked it up and phoned ahead because it's really a gem and a surprise. It's a high-five discovery and so tastefully dome, so comfortable, so convenient, so everything. Nicest... More

The cabins and the motel's setup are adorable. The teepees, the tiki bar, the cabinside grills and picnic tables, the decor, the wonderful location of our cabin facing a wide open farmer's field... it's all cute as a bug. Speaking of bugs, we found quite a few dead moths in our room, but we were so charmed, we didn't care... More

From the pine beds and furniture to the western accessories (the towels were embroidered with elk pictures) the cabin was the perfect choice for us as we toured the Badlands and surrounding area. It is a very clean and well maintained property. We enjoyed an evening bonfire with other guest. Guest 9/5/14 to 9/7/14

Their log cabins are great...clean, nicely decorated in tasteful western style, and some face the prairie (with nice porches to sit on). Many have refrigerators and some kitchenettes. There's also grills, and picnic tables to use in the common areas and near the cabins and rates are very reasonable! It's only a few miles from the entrance to the National... More
