The price was good, the pool was good, the room on the other hand had a very strong urine odor. I would have asked for a new room but they were very busy and we were just basically sleeping there and leaving so we just slept and left. Everything was decent except the smell.

Booking Econo Lodge is like gambling: in some places, they are great; but most of them are not up to what we paid for. And this Econo Lodge is definitely a much better one! We arrived at Rapid City late due to flight delay; by time we reached the hotel, the front desk was totally dark and locked. We noticed... More

First off: I love these 60's throwback re-purposed motels - if they are nice. This motel is FANTASTIC. If I had had a 62 Fairlane I would easily be traveling in a different era. The rooms were GREAT, the bedding excellent, the staff wonderful. I love this place with a heated outdoor pool.

The staff at check-in were friendly and informative. Rooms were clean. Beds were firm, but comfortable. Our family highlight was the swim in the clean heated pool on an oddly chilly night in July. Great choices for breakfast, even donuts. Score! Had a room near gas station and not noisy for us with the exception of the many motorcycles traveling... More

Not bad at all. Exactly what I expect from an EconoLodge. Perfectly adequate destination. Breakfast served the purpose. Super location as you come out of the Badlands. Seemed to be the most affordable place in Wall.

The staff was very friendly upon check-in. The rooms may have been a little outdated, but the bed was comfortable. We were so excited the next morning when we discovered they had hot biscuits and gravy for breakfast! Favorite part of our stay.

I spent a little longer in the Badlands National Park than I had originally intended so we decided to stay in Wall, South Dakota rather than push on to Rapid City. We had had good luck with Econo Lodges on this road trip so were glad to find one right in the middle of town. When I went into the... More

$65 was a great value here. Clean and comfy, great jump off for Badlands National Park. Has non-smoking and non-pet rooms. Two levels, no elevator to second. Extended continental breakfast starting at 6:30. Would stay here again.

Hotel was pet friendly and did not charge for dogs. A little on the old side, but it was very clean. Room was a little noisy, you could hear everything going on in the parking lot. There were two cattle trailers in the lot overnight, one with cows and the other with horses. Also, two dogs were left in one... More

We apologize for the noise of the animals in the parking lot. We had an animal rescue group staying with us that night. Typically it is quiet and we don't have trouble with animals making noises. If you come this way again I hope you would consider another stay with us. More

We stayed here as we passed through SD and our trip was poorly timed to Bike Week in Sturgis. The room was clean for the most part. The carpets could probably use a good shampooing. It is located right next to a gas station so all night there were Harley's pulling in with their loud pipes filling up. The desk... More

Bike week is a hard week to stay any where in western South Dakota. I am sorry that you were kept awake by the noise but the gas station next to us closes at 10pm. It is true that our office closes at 11pm but there is someone in the office overnight. If you needed anything you could of called... More
