First let me say this was not my first trip to Sturgis for the motorcycle rally. In fact it's my 5th. The group I travel with ride from Washington State. We have stayed at Buffalo Chip, Broken Spoke Campground and now Glencoe. Next rally we will return to Buffalo Chip. Glencoe really tries to sale itself as an alternative to... More

Remember folks this is a campground. At the 75th this year everyplace had their resources stretched and it is to be expected. The campground was green, it has paved roads through much of it, extra security in place this year, a stream runs through it. Large trees and plenty of picnic tables. There are areas available to camp if you... More

Glencoe has the potential to be a 5 star campground but right now it is only 2 star. The location can not be beat with trees and a stream and grass. Also, this is the only place to enjoy all the party's at the alley. Check in was extremely easy and only took 2 minutes. We never encountered lines while... More

Stayed 6 nights for the rally. We had rented tents from Contentment camping and it was well worth it. The campground itself has all of the basic necessities. However, things are far from perfect. The south shower house reminds of a 1970's shower house. While there is food available it is tiresome after a few days. The bathrooms were great... More

Awesome camp site. They have power and water hook ups for RVs and toy haulers. On site showers not the best but they work. Great bars and killer concerts. Right across the street from the Full Throttle Saloon. Employees are very helpful. Had a great 7 day stay

I stayed at the Glencoe Camp Resort with 25 other friends during the 75th Sturgis Bike Rally. This is my second time at Glencoe. The early bird group rate for wristbands was $250 each and a camp Porta potty was $230. We stayed in trailers in the dry camping area. Some of us had our own trailers and others rented... More

7 of us travelled for this great event. As we could not bring our swags or tents and no tents available we had to get a cabin. Arrive to find cabin had not been cleaned up from last tenants, wet towels, beds slept in, food. Cabin not level with our heads on the downside, good if you had leg problems... More

This is a different place. Nudity is common. Coed shower available. The bad, of available washers and driers, less than half worked, $2.00 a load each. Toward middle of rally week, the toilets started backing up. Oh yeah, showers and toilets in different buildings. Bad sewer smell in full hook up area.

First off this was my 4th trip to sturgis over the past 6 years. I have stayed at a couple different campgrounds and the people travelling with us have done some different options such as vrbo home rental and camping downtown in someone's yard. Our choice to stay here was a roll the dice and see what we get sort... More
