The Buffalo Chip is Awesome. I don't know what's up with these negative people, I must not of seen you there, because everyone I saw was having a Blast. The whole experience was great. From a very organized check in, and the awesome staff, to our sweet trailer supplied by Jack's Campers, the unbelievable band line-up, and all the awesome... More

My wife usually writes any reviews, I decided to do this one.. For 1, she didn't go with me.. And 2... I wonder if I went to the same place as some of theses ppl. I drove down with a buddy on our bikes from Canada... 1500 miles total... Over 1000 miles the first day. For starters I have no... More

Please explain to me why the place is a total dump? They knew for a year that it was going to be a big rally. They knew for 75 years that it was the 75th rally! They did not bother to even mow the grass! They did nothing to prepare. It was a filthy, rutted, uneven, mud hole. We paid... More

Mixed feelings about the Buffalo chip. The concerts where fantastic along with hanging in the amphitheater MANY nights. The crowd, vendors, bars, etc. were great. Enjoyed the Crossroads as well. The Buffalo Chip vendors and shows were a nice break from fighting the 3 miles of traffic to Sturgis everyday (which we did anyway lol). But arriving in a large... More

Well this is our last time to the chip, lets start off by saying the conserts were a huge rip off . The checking for alcohol what a total waste of time they force you to be a criminal hide your stuff.

I wrote a very detailed review. I must have used a bad word and cant get back to it.... In a nut shell. Don't prepay for anything. I didn't get my sewage service. I didn't get the zip line. ( MY 19 year old wasn't allowed to cross the bar to get to it) Never cleaned the porta potties. (literally... More

I don't even know where to start. We were misled with pricing. Once we got to the gate, we had to pay an additional $1150.00 for two of us. They want to search your campers for alcohol which you know most people bring in considering a case of beer is around $28.00. With the prices they charge, they are crazy!!... More

It's one big 24/7 party....and we expected that. Unfortunatley, we may just be too old to enjoy sleeping in a tent and listening to music, passersby, and motorcycles all night long. I may have slept an hour, maybe. If you're there to party all night long, it's the place to be. The showers were not very clean. Many of the... More

First time to visit the Chip, just for the day to watch the Shinedown/Skynard concert. Filthy grounds, many things like seats, tables, bathrooms were in disrepair, ripped, torn, broken and/or dirty. Overpriced like everything else at Sturgis but what can you do? Was way more impressed with Full Throttle Saloon we went to the day before going to the Chip.

If I could give this place 0 stars, I would. It was expensive, filthy, had horrible service, and nearly zero organization. For starters, the wristband put us back about $350 each (for the boyfriend and I) for the 3rd-9th. once there the food was expensive, and their "general store" was a complete rip off (3$ for a pack of gum)....
