Staying here for 2 days. Great level sites, we had a back in along the back row #55. Plenty of space you could almost fit 2 rvs in this site. The bathrooms are older and need to be updated primarily the showers. The bathrooms were tight and clean (I could barely lock the door on the stall the toilet paper... More

There is so much to do in this area, we planned our stay for 1 week. The park was easy in and out. The maintenance man/manager guides you to your space, patrols the park and is very helpful. The bathrooms are older and maybe a little small in the shower areas, though well maintained. The laundry room was large. The... More

We stayed at this KOA for two nights. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful! The grounds, sites, pool and office were all immaculate. We didn't use the shower house, so I can't comment on that. There were laundry facilities, too. Our site was very spacious and shaded. Easy in and out of the site and entire facility. We would... The entrance was a bumpy giant pothole nightmare. The RV sites were huge and well maintained. The Restrooms were ancient and not so clean. Definitely need updating. Close walk to a busy Mexican restaurant.

Was awesome stay, clean camp sites, and rest rooms. Showed up just as they were closing after a long drive from Saskatchewan with a 1 1/2 year old and got awesome help from the lady. Would stay again in a heartbeat. Thank you to the lady who stayed to help.

We came down from Alberta and had booked a different campground in January. We were very unhappy with our first choice and came to the KOA. We were very fortunate to get a spot....someone had just left and we came in...very lucky indeed!! We had great service and a lovely spot that was shady...quiet...and clean. We would definitely come back... More

The stay at the Spearfish KOA was doomed from the beginning. Reservations told me there was no executive spots available, (Understandable). Requested a double wide location on the end of a row. Was told I had one reserved. Got there, we were three rows from the end. Had to use a fire pit across the road because one was not... More

Beware of the maintenance man / owner / watcher of the grounds........what ever he is........he drives a dirty white golfcart. This place is like no other KOA facility I have ever experienced...... I asked him if he was a security guard because of his weird stares and glares from across the campsites which made me feel like I was in... More

My family just stayed 3 nights at the Spearfish KOA, and I'm happy to report that we saw no traces of the behavior previous posters have reported from the campground hosts. In fact, it was quite the opposite. Upon our arrival, the guy came over and greeted us, pointed out several things in the area to do aside from the... More

My husband has stayed at this campground three separate times, and raves about their kindness...I did see the owner get a little upset, because a group lied to him about there number of people in a cabin. I honestly think there is more to the negative reviews than these other people wrote.I saw him provide his personal fire pit for... More
