I'm a former flight attendant, and hotels are my speciality, as I formerly (basically) lived in them! ;) I enjoyed my 4 nights at the Adoba immensely!! The rooms are modern, gorgeous, and immaculate. The breakfast is top-notch with great customer service! The gift shift serves all needs including beer! And the Adoba is in easy walking distance to all... More

Our family loved staying here when visiting the Badlands and Black Hills. Centrally located in the region, everything is within an hour, and then we were back in the cute town to get dinner at night. The modern deco was awesome, the breakfast buffet was well stocked, and the rates were very competitive. A winner!

We loved our stay at the Adoba. The location is easy and convenient to downtown shops and restaurants. The staff was very helpful. The rooms were clean and the decor was perfect for the area. The gift shop was nice. The breakfast buffet was excellent. We will definitely stay there again when in town.

Pros: great location- all the fun of historic downtown on one side, green space with jogging path on the other. Reasonably priced for the area, considering its the height of tourist season. Friendly staff. Martini bar and a very well stocked convenience store on site. Breakfast is basic but served in a more upscale location than most free buffets. Rooms... More

Great location. Walk to town. Rooms are comfortable. Breakfast buffet is disappointing. Hotel is average. Nothing stands out as special. Very busy with tour companies. Walk to town center and numerous restaurants. Definately go to the Firehouse Brewery. excellent!

Adoba is one of the best places I've ever encountered. Great things like nice, competent staff, clean surroundings, quiet rooms and location near fun activities were there. But, even better, their offering is thoughtfully conceived and geared to minimizing waste. There are no little bottles of shampoo/lotion/conditioner that will be opened, a little bit used, then discarded into the landfill.... More

We stayed here for 2 nights in a triple share room in June. A nice hotel, a bit "trendy" with a mural on the wall. The bathroom was a bit small and I would have preferred small bottles of toiletries not what was provided. Decent breakfast. A good option and convenient for visiting Mount Rushmore and Crazy Horse.

It was one of the best hotels that I have stayed. My room was great. It was comfortable & clean I had a birch trees mural on the wall behind my bed. It was beautiful. In the afternoon they knocked on the guests door to see if they wanted snacks. Service was great. I had no complaints. I recommend this... More

For a hotel room that costs $199 per night, I would have expected a quiet room. On my last night in the hotel, the train horn sounded every hour from 2 a.m. to 6 a.m. The A/C unit was terribly loud so any conversation or tv watching was interrupted while it was running. Additionally on my first day at the... More

Air conditioning didn't cool the room despite a call to front desk to notify them of the issue. Room temp dropped only 4 degrees from check in time to check out. I have a medical condition which requires me to stay cool, so this was not good for my health. Smoke detector battery chirped off and on while we were... More
