My second stay here both for business. Both times I was 7th floor or above..,due to other comments I will say that while inside the hotel I heard only 1 train and 1 thunderstorm. The rooms are clean and very modern. Lists of places to plug in including a charging station with USB port. Breakfast was adequate, but always the... More

Upon arrival we were greeted by a very friendly staff that couldn't have been more helpful. Bonnie went above and beyond. The room was large and clean. The bathroom was large enough and clean. Great location as there are a number of eating places all within easy walking distance. My only complaint was that after the 1st night (we stayed... More

This hotel was a nice place to stay and an interesting change from the normal, average chain hotel. The rooms are fun and quirky. They aren't fancy per se, but the one we stayed in was clean and comfortable. There is free breakfast included which was nice. The breakfast was a standard continental buffet style breakfast. The only real complaint... More

Stayed here two nights, wore industrial strength earplugs, was still woken up by multiple trains both nights as there are train tracks right behind the hotel and as the trains roll thru town they blow their horns non-stop. Got no sleep between 3am and 6am from non-stop trains. Also loud music from bars right outside hotel (karaoke at that) will... More

Owners deserve a lot of credit for making over an old chain hotel into an interesting boutique-y kind of place. Rooms are very comfortable and decor is fun (motorcycle stencils, Mount Rushmore murals, postcards under the desk table glass). The restaurant and bar are still pure Ramada 1990 in terms of decor, unfortunately. Breakfast is adequate but with the wacky... More

Excellent hotel. Whoever chose the remodel did a great job! Our room reminded me of an upscale New York boutique hotel. Very comfortable. I must commend the staff who are delightful and super helpful. The young man who picked us up from the airport was great! He was warm talkative and very informative. A great guy. Breakfast was very good... More

Great location for visiting the black hills/badlands/mount Rushmore/crazy horse/pinnacles drive/Custer state park. Good food in restaurant, and reasonable breakfast buffet. Room was a little quirky, but comfortable with aircon, free wifi, 2 double beds, ice machine nearby (no fridge). Only downside was that we had a room facing Main Street and there is a bar/grill nearby which had quite loud... More

I like quiet, but accessible to downtown..and this place fits the bill on both! Parking is at a premium downtown also. I have stayed at two other Rapid City hotels, and thankfully will not need to keep hopping around..have already made my reservation for August when my son goes back to the School of Mines..and I drop him off and... Good hotel close to the main street and convenient as a base for visiting Fort Laramie, Mount Rushmore and the Crazy Horse monument . The restaurant and bar were good as was the brekfast . Its well worth trying the hotel bar as the local bars close at 9pm on Sunday (they obviously dont need your tourist money.)
