Willow Springs is just great! Each cabin is charmingly furnished with Russ's handmade furniture complemented by Joyce's rustic decorating touches. The setting is serene, the wildlife abundant. We were greeted each morning by two beautiful bucks just off our porch before Joyce came up the hill with her delectable breakfast in a basket. Everything is homemade and delicious, and the... More

This I the second multi-day stay we've had here. Both times were during the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally. We recommend Willow Springs Cabins to anyone looking for peace and quiet, fishing, wildlife watching, and a central location in the Black Hills. There are two cabins. The first time we visited we stayed in the Willows cabin and this year in the... More

After weeks of being on the road my partner and I greatly looked forward to coming to Willow Springs. You've read the other reviews, and I assure you - they are not exaggerating. Joyce's strength is her attention to detail - she puts extraordinary effort into everything. The grounds are beautiful and the hot tub takes it a step beyond.... More

We were planning a trip out to the Black Hills area in celebration of our 7th anniversary, and actually switched our initial dates in order to stay at this cabin. We are so glad that we did! My husband is a dairy farmer, and is always up very early. As a result I always try to find somewhere that he... More

We are not ordinarily fans of bed and breakfasts, feeling they lack privacy. However, the Willow Springs cabin was the consummate blend of privacy (in our own little cabin) with what we see as the best parts of a B&B (the friendly conversation and information resources of the owners and of course, the breakfasts!) Joyce made wonderful breakfasts and it... More

Very relaxing, beautiful and private! We have stayed at Willow Springs B&B many times in our 25 yrs of marriage, and we are always greeted warmly, graciously, and like we are coming home. But it's better! Because at home, we don't have the fantastic amenities that Joyce and Russell offer! They are the most gracious hosts we have ever known,... More

The cabin is charming and quiet. The privacy is amazing unlike most B&Bs in the area. The room had everything we needed for a romantic getaway. We stayed for 3 days and left wishing we had booked it for more. We strolled down to the creek where we both caught trout. There are great swimming holes around every bend. The weather... More

My wife and I rented a cabin for 6 nights on our recent trip to South Dakota (in early Sept 2012) The cabin we had was great for 2 people. It had amenities you would need. Coffee Maker, nice bed, dining table, microwave, dishes and utensils, couch, flat screen tv, etc. Outside, there was a porch swing, picnic table, hot... More

We loved, loved, loved this place!! Two cabins in the woods, with great amenities, private outdoor hot tub, picnic table & chairs for relaxing, sipping wine, & watching the deer, turkeys, birds, etc. We stayed 3 days but could've stayed longer. Joyce & Russell are amazing, interesting, & caring hosts. Breakfasts are fantastic, delivered by Joyce each morning. A nice... More

This place is fantastic. My wife and I spent 4 days here and wish it would have more. The cabin we stayed in is very private and features a hot tub right outside the front deck. The cabin overlooks a little creek and the beautiful surrounding hills. Breakfast is delivered at your desired time and is amazing. I can't say... More
