We simply loved the historic Hisega Lodge - a full-service B&B with an exemplary host - Carol - who went out of her way to ensure our every need was met! We were lucky enough to be her only guests for two nights, and felt very spoiled indeed. All the communal downstairs rooms were full of quirky character and history,... More

We loved Hisega Lodge Bed & Breakfast. The owners are very nice and friendly. The Hisega Lodge is so warm, cozy, and homey. Carol's breakfasts are delicious and creative!!! We stayed for 2 days then went to North Dakota.....We liked it so much we decided to come back for 2 days at the end of our trip.

We thoroughly enjoyed our five night stay at Hisega Lodge! We stayed in the Helen Room, which suited us very well. King bed AND pillows were so comfy! The guest rooms are all on the small side, but they are quite functional and very cozy. We had a lot of luggage, and we managed with no problem. The common areas... More

Hisega was a wonderful place to stay for our first trip to the Black Hills. Carol & Kenn were very gracious hosts. Carol's breakfasts were outstanding. We could hear the rushing creek outside our window. Are anxious to return! Very relaxing and welcoming.

We are Rapid City locals just getting away for a night in our beautiful hills area. We enjoyed our stay at Hisega Lodge. It has charm, history and character. It was very clean. The owners were delightful as was the help. We enjoyed sitting on the porch watching the creek and eating our carried-in dinner. The breakfast was very nicely... More

Spent 2 nights at the lodge and loved it. Carol and Ken are great hosts and very accommodating. Carols breakfasts are fantastic! The rooms are small and baths smaller than most but certainly functional. Even though rustic they do have WiFi but no air conditioning but there is a great breeze and ceiling fan. There is a porch on both... More

My wife and I and another couple shared the two bedroom/two bath "hideaway" (Carl and Jesse's Hideaway) that is part of the Hisega Lodge. We were there the week before the Black Hills Rally (Sturgis) 2015. This place is great. Its a bed and breakfast beside a river in a beautiful setting that is very motorcycle friendly. Breakfast each day... More

I stayed one night as I was passing through Rapid City. There was a large family reunion happening when I arrived, so at first I was a bit surprised by the large gathering in the main lodge. The family reunion group were great! They quickly found Carol for me so that I could check in. Carol made sure that I... More

About 5 weeks ago my husband and I were blessed to stay 2 nights at Hisega Lodge. We had been in Rapid City for a conference, and while RC is a delightful town with many nice restaurants and shops, we were looking for a more peaceful spot to spend the last 2 days of our trip. We found it at... More
