Everything you could ask for. Level sites, beautiful forest backdrop. We felt very fortunate to be able to enjoy the fruits of someone else's hard labour. The owner was very cordial and went out of his way to make sure we enjoyed our stay. This is our second year here at this campground and hope to be able to return... More

We stayed here in July'14. The roads in the campground were steep and rocky. So where the campsites. The bbq/fire pit was in a steep location in our site, it was impossible to sit and enjoy a fire. Yes, there were trees, but the campsites were so close it was impossible to have any privacy. The internet was terrible (intermittent and... More

We stayed two nights and if we had seen the campground prior to paying we would have ran. Our unfortunate visit was the last weekend in May on our way to see my son at Lewis McChord JMB in Tacoma WA. None of the campsites were mowed, Wi-Fi did not work in our camper, the restrooms and showers looked as... More

Stayed for 2 nights June 2014. Location was perfect- right next to Bear Country and just a quick drive into Keystone. Well maintained grounds. A bit close to the highway though we did not hear traffic noise at night. We stayed in the large cabin with bunk beds. It was one large open room- good for large groups/families but not... More

Excellent resort featuring many different accomodations from tenting, RVs, cabins, group lodges. Well sheltered with excellent facilities and close to all of fthe area attractions. Reasonable rates with AAA/CAA discounts available. Staff and management are courteous and helpful. We have enjoyed coming back year after year. Excellent for cycling or motor biking to near by towns.

Check in staff was wonderful. However the manger was rude, and very disrespectful. While checking in made snide comments about who we were traveling with (he felt it was too many kids) he the followed us to our site and counted the number of kids we had with us. He had told him the honest answer at first then he... More

We spent 5 nights here in one of the cabins and we will visit again when heading this way. The staff are great and everything is incredibly clean. It is perfectly located to see all of the area attractions and comfortable to come home to each night!

With all the choices of places to camp in a tent near Mount Rushmore, I reached out to a distant relative in the area for a recommendation. Mystery Mountain was wonderful. There was a clean outdoor pool, playground for the kids, miniature golf, and lots of trees (many campsites we saw had little to no trees). We were right next... More

We stayed there for 4 nights in June with a travel trailer. We stayed in a site without sewer, the site was unlevel and we had a hard time leveling the camper. The sites were wooded. Tthe staff was friendly, the all you can eat pancakes for a $1 was great. The pool was very nice. The entire campsite was... More
