“Front desk staff kept this from 1 star”

Upon arrival we were greeted by a very helpful front desk clerk. We got a king suite which was nice size wise. Within 15 minutes the front desk called to confirm things were ok with the room. “Fun for everyone in the family!”

This hotel is located near all the places and attractions we wanted to visit on our vacation. The best part was spending the evening at the indoor water park relaxing and enjoying the great food and beverages offered by the hotels restaurant (Sliders) while the children played. Will definitely stay at this hotel again!

The hotel was clean and obviously very family-friendly. The hotel is attached to an indoor waterpark. The hotel is promoted as 100% smoke free, but it is also 100% pet friendly. Our room was very clean and the staff was kind. The beds were comfortable and clean. The water park gets a bit crowded but fun for all ages. Needs a bigger parking lot but other than that we are very satisfied with our stay. Great location right off the interstate.

If you are traveling to or through Rapid City, SD take the time and pleasure to experience a wonderful stay at their La Quinta Hotel. You will not regret this experience. The staff is outstanding, the hotel is exceptionally clean throughout, the beds are comfortable, and the room is fresh and clean.

The la Quinta is attached to both the Watiki water park and sliders grill, it is just ok, the walls are not very thick so it was very noisy and we had some leftovers from a previous guest in our fridge
