Traveled from Colorado, motel is under new ownership and management and clearly being remodeled. Room was nice, comfortable,& spacious. In an excellent location, easy access to many things in rapid city. Would recommend this motel for the price.

From the front desk to the rooms and upon check out I was very pleased. This place has a cool vibe and super friendly people. If you find yourself in Rapid city for business or for a nice vacation you must stay here.

Certainly not a 'luxury' motel, but definitely very reasonable prices & it has some fantastic large rooms for families. I've stayed there a few times over the years. The last time was with my 3 sisters to have a Sister Weekend. Our room had Four double beds (one in a room by itself w/a door), so we each had our... More

I booked this hotel through booking.com. I stayed there two nights recently. There was a broken faucet in the first room that I was given. It also had curtains with holes. Then I was transferred to the next room. That room also had holes in the curtain though not as many. Later that evening, when I went to sleep, I... More

Was going to stay at Big Sky Lodge but it was fully booked. Tried this one. Front staff nice but room was bad. Tub took a long time to drain after shower. Bed was lumpy. Room smelled and was hot. Could hear the people above. Had a very bad sleep - would have got a better sleep staying in the... More

I would rather sleep in my car then ever stay at this filthy dump. It was disgusting!!!!! The room smelled horrible, very musty, nasty smell. The door looked like it had been broken into and not repaired very well. Bugs in the bathroom, disgusting dirty carpet, hair in the bed. Pulled the mattress pad up to see what we were... More

Filthy, disgusting and scary. No sound profing in the walls or ceiling. We could hear every noise the neighbors made. At three am the people above us started pounding on the floor so hard I thought our ceiling was going to fall on our heads. They then started screaming in Spanish. Some one tossed some liquid off the second story... More

The room smelled awful, we had to leave the door open to air it out. I didn't dare walk on the carpet with out shoes or slippers. The handle on the toilet fell off after it was flushed twice, and then it about overflowed and we didn't put to much tp in to make it do so. We couldn't figure... More

If you want nostalga and a trip across mid America then this is your motel. Located on the very busy through town route to Mount Rushmore on US-16 it attracts folks on motorcycle tours as well as families on a budget and locals who need an inexpensive room for a few nights or more. It is in pretty good shape... More

This place sucks, I grew up in the hotel business, they need to cut their losses and burn this [--] to the ground, likely displacing all the thugs, fatherless children, and drug addicts. The room is disgusting, smells likeweek old diapers. Dirty is an understatement. You won't be clean by taking a shower here because by the time u touch... More
