Traveling from Montana to Alabama. After a late start we needed a dog friendly place to stay at 10:30p on a Thursday night in June. We stopped at the nearby LaQuinta and they were full and referred us back toward town about 5 miles to a sister hotel. Instead I called Sleep Inn and the phone was answered by a... More

This Sleep Inn is at a convenient on/off place to stay off I-90. It is a clean hotel with decent rooms and pool/whirlpool areas. The halls are a bit dimly lit for a newer property and the rental price is competitive for anywhere in the Black Hills during mid-August. The breakfast room and serving area were a bit small but... This is the second time we've stayed here and have not been disappointed. Staff were nice, our room was clean, and it was quiet. The hotel has a great location close to Mt. Rushmore and other attractions. There are plenty of restaurants nearby but most are not within walking distance. We will stay here again.

Nice clean and quiet with a good location. The location is good for touring Mt. Rushmore and other area attractions. The staff was friendly and helpful with suggestions on area attractions. My room was on the second floor which was quiet. Nice comfortable king beds in a well appointed room.

Most all the reviews are on target about the hotel. To me the pool was not too small nor the breakfast so-so. We stayed for three nights and had a wonderful experience with very friendly, helpful staff. If there was one thing I would have liked, that would be a "white noise" in the room (I heard there is an... More

This Sleep Inn was very clean, and the price was lower than comparable hotels in the area - Mt. Rushmore area seems to be a bit overpriced, and booked up quite a bit in advance. We were happy to choose this hotel over other chains very close by. Very nice staff, decent sized rooms (a little small, but had everything... More

Quite possibly the smallest hotel pool on the face of the Earth. Staff was friendly and welcoming and my family and I enjoyed our stay. I would suggest avoiding the third floor (pet floor), though. Their WiFi is pretty awful as well. If you are looking for a friendly, centrally located hotel at a good price, this one will work.... More

The room itself is very nice. The bathroom is huge. Everything is modern. Aside from the size of the room, everything is small. The towels are the size of hand towels and do a nice job of exfoliating. The beds are small and very firm. The pillows are half the size of a normal pillow. The pool is on the... More

My family of 5 stayed there for a week. Good location with proximity to downtown and highway. Room was a bit small but I appreciate that it had a microwave and a fridge. Very clean! Housekeeping staff were awesome and very nice! Front desk staff were always very helpful and nice. Breakfast was so so. They alternated bacon and sausage... More

We stayed here after a long day on the road coming home from Glacier. The room was clean and comfortable, and a relative value. I say relative, because all of the hotels near Mt Rushmore are overpriced. I would try to stay somewhere else and drive in to Rushmore, if I had it to do over again. The Dakota Steakhouse... More
