We stayed here the last week of May 2013. The hotel is very clean, with outstanding staff. The rooms are as expected, but as others have said, you can hear every movement in the room above you. This is a really great property that they have here in South Dakota. Very convenient to the big Mall in Rapid City. There are plenty of good restaurants around also. Very close to the Interstate with a gas station-convenience store next door and a TGIFriday a half block away.

This hotel is about 6 miles from the airport and 30 miles from Mt. Rushmore. It is an easy drive ( even though I made the drive in snow in April)!. The hotel is comfortable. The beds are extremely soft. There is a small casino in the hotel. The employees were friendly.

If you want to stay really close to Mount Rushmore, be ready to pay a lot. Staying farther away will save you some bucks. This hotel was very good, providing a good spot to rest. The room had a jacuzzi and kitchen area. Too bad I only stayed one night. Breakfast was OK, but room was crowded.

After staying with family members and in small hotels, to end our trip I booked us here and I am so glad we did. The rooms and bathroom are spacious, the staff are friendly, and it is a easy drive to the airport. It was a luxurious respite after almost 2 weeks of travel. I highly recommend the hotel.
