Let me start by saying, my bike broke down, and I really did not have a choice, BUT…… The people in Presho, South Dakota, the Motel, and the restaurant (Hutch's Restaurant) next door, they are the kindest people. It was a pleasure to break down outside of that town and limp into their existence, and meet these people. I would... More

After the long lip from Central IL to Presho all I wanted was clean inexpensive hotel with hot water and I got it. $65 we paid for 2QB room + WIFI and parking included was plenty for next to nothing it offers and still compared with about all hotels west of it. The motel is family own and with its... More

Huge rooms, little bit older décor, but perfectly functional. Staff goes above and beyond to make things right for your stay. The price is right and there is a restaurant next door. Overall the experience was very satisfying! A great place to rest after a long day in the Black Hills Forest.

OK, it is an older place and the outside isn't much. However the rooms are very clean, and although older, are well put together and maintained. The bathroom in my room was mostly new. The downside would be (in my room at least) no modern TV. But .. That isn't a big deal in my view. Prices are well below... More

Personable owners and very clean property with wifi! Road trip from WYMT to IA. Checked Kayak for current location after filling up at Sinclair (clean restrooms pricy gas) while on E 90. Looked on TripAdvisor (which had contact number) and found this gem in Presho! Great rates (Offered Military discount) Queen beds. Nice bed spreads, firm beds & large rooms.... More

If you are looking for the Presho Hilton this is not your place. But if you want a clean bed and not a lot of frills, Hutch's fits the bill. It's a dog friendly hotel which is nice since we were hunting in the area. I assume most of the folks there were hunter's. Rooms are big and the water... More

My husband and I go on a corporate Pheasant hunting trip in Presho every year with clients from all over the country and while Hutch's is not the Ritz, they have a clean and very comfortable place. The bathroom is nice with a new tub and it was spotless. They also did daily room service even on the weekend which... More

We are moving 2030 Niles from pur home. We stopped here and I am astonished! The place doesn't look like much outside. However, upon entry service was sincere and kind, the room smells great, it is immaculately clean and maintained for the retro 70's style! Then.... we climbed into bed (where I just laid down and couldn't wait to sleep... More

Came upon this place after traveling 14 hours on our way to Spokane. The person that checked us in named Scott was very nice, told us about the resturant next door and offered to carry in our bags. Yes as others say the room looked like it was last updated around the 50's although the TV's seemed to be from... More

Every place else was over 100 bucks. Late at night, price was right, had a comfy room to stay. Had lots of pillows, too. The list of "no-no's was super funny... Hunters, no cleaning your birds in the room, and no skunky dogs..LOL. We will for sure stay here again. In the AM, we had an excellent breakfast at Hutch's... More
