The Hotel was very nice; beautiful lobby and nice rooms. The casino was a disappointment. Very, very smoky. Not the cleanest. Does not have an adequate restaurant. The machines are pretty much outdated.

To start, we booked a room due to no electricity in our area, the man who checked us in was "stoic", lol. not very friendly, Lobby looked nice, but the elevator, hallways, and room smelled like cigarette smoke among other things. and DO NOT use the pool. some sort of black worms swimming on bottom of pool. : \ Staff... I checked into the hotel and the front desk clerk was very attentive and nice. I asked for a smoking room and when I got to the room I noticed after 30 minutes there wasn't an ashtray in the room, so I called the front desk and asked her if this was a smoking room at which she informed me... More

We had a nice new, large room with two beds, a big stuffed chair, a desk chair, straight-backed chair and table. There was a small vanity with mirror in the room, a large vanity in the bathroom. The tub/shower had a rubber bath mat but no grab bars. The room also included a coffee maker and a hair dryer. We... More

Though this is not actually in Pine Ridge proper, but about 15 miles further west, I don't think that is a minus, other than there is no other nearby place to eat and the food was fairly bad. That being said I would stay there again if in the area. The rooms were comfortable and clean. It was actually fun... More

I have been told the restaurant wasnt too good but had to see for myself. If in fact it wasnt good before well its stepped up. We had the buffet and the food... More

My title says it all. More than adequate rooms but I ate dinner adjacent to a big screen TV featuring a Lady Gaga concert. It was an inadequate distraction from the food.

(This is a re-edit of my review submitted on June 9, 2011) I enjoyed the Prairie Wind Casino and Hotel. However, before we start, there is something really important you need to know -- where Prairie Wind is located. Let's start with where it is NOT located; it is not in the town of Pine Ridge. It IS about 25-30... More
