The hotel was in the middle of every place I needed to visit and very convenient. The rooms was spotless and the furnishings were new. Everyone was so friendly and even pointed me to a restaurant that was excellent! The cost was less than the name brand hotels and the staff was much more personable. I'll stay here every time... Had to find a place to stay and there was only 4 rooms left in town. I went to the other locations (not to mention them for the pr) Im very happy this is the place I stayed, staff was very nice. The best thing was you are about a 2-3 minute walk to the old main street, where you... More

No frills but clean with an okay breakfast. Bad coffee. Location is not nice. Very basic place if you are just passing through. Priced appropriately. Did not smell like smoke & that is nice. Ask for street side room since the back is train side.

My wife and I stayed for a night whilst on a coach trip. We were impressed with how helpful the staff are, the quality of the rooms and the central location. There are many fine eating places within 10 minutes walk. We would definitely stay again.

The room was reasonably clean and comfortable. The only workspace is a small round wobbly table, which can be frustrating if you need to do work on your notebook. Didn't watch much TV, but it was an old 20" CRT (as opposed to the flat panels that most motels have now). Breakfast doesn't start until 7:00 (much later than most),... More

This is a totally functional hotel, just quite dated. Rooms are spacious and clean, facilities are fairly basic. Décor is getting a little tired. Service was just average. Price was the best thing really at around $90 for a king room its good value for money. Location was fairly central but a busy main road out front and a railway... More

This is a former Best Western now run by Maria and Thomas King. It's right near the capitol building and an easy walk to restaurants and parks. It's clean and comfortable. I had a room with a fridge and microwave. The air conditioning unit is surprisingly quiet (much better than most hotels). The rooms are not fancy but very well-lit... More

husband and i stayed here overnight as part of a large tour group. the hotel is located with an easy walk to the capitol building, down to the river, or along the Main Street of shops. Walgreens is literally next store for stocking up on bits and pieces. Our hotel room came with a coffee maker, microwave and fridge. The... More

Stayed at this hotel as part of a Cosmos tour. Rooms are very dated, tired and warn. Beds are a bit too soft and pillows are flat. Towels and face washers need replacing as they are a cream/grey colour as I do believe at one stage they were white? Walls have been patched and are in desperate need of repainting.... More

We just renovated the entire hotel with all new furniture, flat screen TV's, lamps, bathtubs and fixtures. The only items we are waiting on are pictures for the walls. I do not understand this guest's comments about "tired and dated". Our new furniture was installed in December 2012 and our bedding was brand new in 2011. I will follow up... More

Nice location within walking distance of restaurants and state capitol building. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Hotel is clean but is outdated, with 1980s décor. There is a casino next door which seems to attract some people of less-than-ideal character. While I didn't see any problems, I would recommend getting rooms on the second floor, overlooking the parking lot.... More
