Lyndy and Kenny are very gracious hosts. The ranch is somewhat remote, ~8 miles on gravel roads, but thanks to Lyndy's directions, we drove right to it. As others have said, this is truly an oasis. This has been their family home for generations, and the care and love for it is evident throughout. We happened to be the only... More

It was dark. Only our headlights illuminated the gravel road. Shadows along the edges quickly disappeared into blackness as we dutifully heeded Lyndy's admonishment to ignore our GPS and follow her directions. We were late arrivals, very late, and as we made our way deeper through the night into what seemed like nothingness we wondered what we would find at... More

This B&B was one of the most unique places we stayed going cross country. We stayed in the carriage house which was meticulously clean and had an ambiance from back in time, not unlike Little House on the Prairie! So peaceful. The host were as down to earth and friendly as you'd hope to meet. It was set waaayyyy back... More

My family and I enjoyed our stay very much. Lyndy and Kenny were great hosts. They made my 8 year old daughter feel so special that she wanted to stay longer. The house itself was like staying a dollhouse. Our room had a claw-footed tub/shower and you could see the pride Lyndy takes in her home. It is not too... More

We stayed in the Carriage House and it was a wonderful experience. Very clean and setup well for a family. The Sears & Roebuck house from the early 1900's is a great piece of history and the fourth generation family has preserved it well. Lyndy and Kenny were super nice and Lyndy sets out a great breakfast spread. If you... More

Set in rolling hills, this place just oozed class. But more than that, the host was 5 star all the way. The high point was the fantastic home cooked meal that was cooked for us when we arrived. This took our BnB experiences to a new higher level. Great!

Lyndy and Kenny were wonderful hosts in their historic and wonderful home. Lyndy and Kenny are a delightful couple who just celebrated 45 years of marriage together. Their stories of growing up in this rather isolated part of the country were a joy. Staying here was not on our original trip plan, but opportunity presented itself and we were glad... More

Be at home at this Bed and Breakfast! That is exactly how Lyndy and Kenny will make you feel! What a beautiful place inside and out. You do have to drive down a long dirt road to get there, but it will be well worth the drive. Scrumptious breakfasts and warm hospitality will make you feel like you are part... More

We spent a night while cycling in South Dakota. It was a pleasant surprise after a day on the road. It is off the beaten track, but worth the effort. The owners are hospitable and welcoming. Our room was quaint and comfortable. The meals were excellent, home made in the B and B kitchen. Overall, the positive experience was a... More

Eight of us traveling cross country stayed one night at Lyndy and Kenny's warm and comfortable historic home in South Dakota. I echo all the previous comments. "You have to stay here" and "a wonderful surprise at the end of the dirt road." Dinner was home-cooked grilled pork, grilled sweet potato, and ramen salad, followed up by warm peach cobbler.... More
