Paying a short visit to Mitchell, I wanted to stay in a Bed & Breakfast in order to get a feel of the city. It is the first Bed & Breakfast that I have stayed in since 1985 and I can say that it is beyond all of my expectations. Ila Rumbolz is the most welcoming host and she made... More

Great Bed & Breakfast in Central Mitchell. Close to everything and in a quite location. The owner was very pleasant. The breakfast was very good and filling. The rooms were very cozy and comfortable and more inportant clean. I would stay here again the next time I visted Mitchell.

Mitchell was an overnight stop on our drive west to see, of course, the Corn Palace. Flavia’s is a large older home in a nice quiet residential neighborhood walking distance to shops, movie theater and the Corn Palace (all about 5 blocks or less). All rooms are up one flight of stairs that are a bit narrow & steep, typical... More

We spent a lovely evening at Flavia's Place and got a little Christmas in June in the Winter Room. The owner was very accommodating and helpful during our stay and the breakfast was phenomenal! Very highly recommended overall. Nice for a couple, a family or a group of friends traveling through.

I stayed here once and will definitely stay here again. The host is wonderful, friendly and welcoming. The food was healthy, fresh and delicious and the menu varied daily. She was able to point me in the direction of places I would enjoy seeing and walking routes that I liked. Her sense of humor and well traveled appreciation of people... More

We stayed here twice, on our way out to the Black Hills and again on the return trip. The hostess is great, really friendly, is well traveled and well read and can provide lots of information about the area. Wonderful breakfast and she varies the menu on a daily basis. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to... More

Friendly host. Good breakfast. I did feel that the building itself was more "run-of-the-mill old house" rather than the mansion that B & B's tend to be. Appreciate more spaciousness since I am 6 foot 3. I grew up in an old farmhouse and considered this comparable(although this is in the city). Replace the front storm door...it's extremely worn. The... More

We stayed at Flavia's during our roadtrip to Seattle and California. Lelia (the host) is an insightful, friendly and warm host. I've read the good reviews prior to contacting her for reservations and was not disappointed. She really knows how to make you feel at home as well as how to find something in common with everyone she meets. We... More

I stayed at Flavia's for the 5th Annual Indigo and Natural dye workshop with Jay Rich, an artists workshop which the owner Lelia Guilbert was hosting September 24 -27, 2009. Lelia's warm smile made me feel so welcome as well as I entered the sunny yellow living room. Her decor of nativity creches from all over the world is fascinating.... More

We stayed at Flavia's B&B for only a night but it was a wonderful stay. Lelia (the hostess) is warm and welcoming. From the moment she answered the door we felt like we were among friends and family. Flavia's (the name comes from a previous owner) has 4 large bedrooms. Three of the rooms share a bath. The fourth (the... More
