In the middle of South Dakota on Interstate 90 there lies a town of about 280 people, not a lot there except a very clean, well managed KOA that is very nice, big spaces, big rigs or small, tents or what have you. Very very friendly country folk, chuck wagon dinners and breakfasts. Well worth an overnight, lots of campers,... More

My girlfriend and I stopped here twice for fourth of July weekend. Once on the way to the Black Hills for a climbing vacation, and once on the way back home. This helped break up the driving a bit. About the facilities. This is a great place to spend the night. The grass was well kept, the facilities were kept... More

Stopped here for an overnight on the way out West. Nice, clean campground. Close to freeway. Definitely in the middle of nowhere so be sure not to forget anything and don't plan on eating out! ;) Kids swam in pool and played on playground. Would have been peaceful but there was a large travel group staying at the same time... More

We arrived an hour before sunset so we missed out on mini golf and pool but will definitely arrive earlier next time. Quiet and peaceful campground. Highly recommend. We stayed at a tent site for 4 and total cost was $38 so much better than an overpriced hotel.

August 2012: My husband and I, with our small dog, stayed there on our way to the Black Hills and also on our return. The hospitality from Teri and Toni, was beyond any expectations and the chuckwagon food was spectacular and reasonable. FYI, we stopped with a temperature of 107 degrees and the host let us park early before opening,... More

We spent one night here in August. The late check-in process was easy. We stayed in a cabin, which was comfortably equipped with a full bed, a twin bunk, a small desk and chair, and even an air conditioning unit. It was quite comfortable for three of us. Restrooms and showers were very clean, even late at night. We didn't... More

Very nice campground, surrounded by trees. Convenient to the intersate but very quiet. The food at the chuck wagon was tasty and reasonably priced when you consider the nearest McDonalds is 35 miles away. Restrooms were convenient and clean. The pool and hot tub were great. The hosts were very friendly and helpful.
