We were on our way home to Florida after our vacation in Montana visiting family. We happened on this motel by chance. It was one of the cleanest places I have ever stayed at. The beds were so comfortable I slept great which is not often for me in a strange place. I had awaken at 4:30 am so I... More

Frankly, this building needs to be condemned. The outside is beyond the point of being unsafe. Broken windows on the bottom floor, ripped curtains, rotting wooden stairs. However, once we got past the outside, the room itself was in fact very clean. They even had a brand new tub/shower insert in the bathroom and a brand new shower curtain. The... More

The only reason we even stayed at this place was because my brother-in-law pre booked our hotels as we drove his moving van across the country. He will never live this one down and nows us big for providing us a night at the "buzzard inn".This is the worst place I have ever stayed in my life. Upon arriving I... More

Arrived late at Kadoka and needed a place to stay. Room was damp, dirty, dead bugs on the floor and water stayed in bath tub. Bed sheets had holes in them. When asked gentleman at front desk for plastic to cover ice bin the room, he responded that if the bin is good for us then should be good to... More

When I explained that I had booked a room with breakfast included, the manager told me breakfast wasn't included. I then called Magnuson Hotels (through which I had made the booking) and re-confirmed that breakfast was, indeed, included. Magnuson then called the manager to explain that. He appeared at my room a few minutes later. Had he handled this in... More

This was a lovely, clean hotel in a great location. The innkeeper was one of the most friendly people I have met and the rate included breakfast at the cafe next door. While the rooms are a bit dated, it's a great place to rest for a night or two.

My cousin and I stayed here during Aug. 2009 during the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally. We stayed after driving 14hours and we were dead tired from driving soooo long. We got off at ext. 150 on Interstate 90 and this was the only motel that had any rooms at a decent price. The other was charging around $100. This motel has... More

A cozy place with friendly innkeepers. While the furnishings are a bit dated...it was a clean, very large double room and the wifi worked great. Pet friendly, quiet, and inexpensive. Would definitely stay here again.

Clean, very large room, good wifi, quiet, and convenient getting to Bad Lands Park and Pine Ridge on Indian land. Has pool, but wasn't working when we visited this summer. Needs more updates and cleaning up. Sort of looks like a 50's motel beginning to remodel. Like all hotels in the area they increase the fee when special events occur... More

Where do I start? The Kadoka Inn & Spa is top notch. It sets new standards for South Dakota hospitality. I knew our stay would be great as we pulled up and the custom eagle mural on the side of the building greeted us and promised to keep us safe. Fox News was wafting its dulcet tones as we entered...
