The cabins are great. Clean, very well stocked, and the views are awesome. We stayed in Harney view and couldn't have asked for much more. The owners are incredibly helpful. Highly recommend, we have stayed twice in different cabins and the experience was great both times.

We can't say enough about Newton Fork Ranch - a cozy, beautiful, and relaxing setting yet 5 minutes from town . Linda and her staff are very friendly and helpful. The log cabins were extremely clean and equipped with all of the necessary amenities. We would highly recommend a stay at the ranch to anyone who is looking for a quiet,... More

Lovely, rustic cabin with wonderful amenities including claw foot tub, bbq grill, terry robes & gas fireplace. Everything to make a stay like home, and yet away! The proximity to Michelson trail is great for an instant hiking place from the ranch. Thanks to all for a great stay!

My daughter and I spent two nights in the Deer Hollow cabin and would have loved to stay longer. Hill City is charming, Black Hills attractions are nearby, and the location is lovely and peaceful. The cabin was very comfortable; we LOVED the lack of TV and wifi but this could be a negative for people who want/need to be... More

We stayed here for five nights and would've stayed longer it was that great! Linda, the owner and her staff, Gloria the property manager and Gayle the cleaning person, were all super friendly and easy to get along with. Never met Linda but had numerous talks on the phone leading up to our visit. She was helpful and professional and... More

This was our second trip to Newton Fork Ranch. We stayed several years ago in Harney Peak and had been looking forward to a return trip. This time we chose the newly renovated Grandma's Ranch House for our 10th Anniversary. It is a gorgeous historic home that has been lovingly restored. Lots of original features with modern conveniences. We liked... More

What a great week in the Black Hills and our cabin at Newton Fork Ranch was the perfect home base for everything we wanted to do. We waited over a year for this trip as the snow storm of 2013 cancelled everything last year. We came for the Crazy Horse Half Marathon and the only negative I can say about... More

My husband and I spent four nights in the Timber Haus cabin and very much enjoyed the experience. We've stayed in many cabins throughout the Midwest, and this one will rank up there among our favorites. Pros: Comfortable bed (new mattress!). Clean throughout. Beautiful deck on the front of the cabin is a great spot for watching the deer and... More

We stayed in Grandma's Cabin that is part of the Newton Fork Ranch properties. It was exactly as pictured, very clean and perfect for our visit. All the cabins are separate from each other and set into the landscape around it. The property is located within walking distance to the heart of Hill City and is conveniently located to all... We were traveling through the area and decided to stop at Mt Rushmore for the day. We found Newton Fork Ranch on trip advisor and it met all of our requirements. Close to the monument and sites, pet friendly, super clean and charming. The property is beautiful and the cabins were perfect. Our son loved the loft bedroom!!
