We are so glad we stayed here. Christine and Hanspeter were gracious hosts. A real Treat. Hanspeter is a true gardener and raised beautiful flowers and plants, which were inside due to it being fall weather. I think these are all over the patioes and decks during the summer - more flowers on each plant than I have ever seen... More

Spent three nights at this nice B&B. Rooms are themed and nicely appointed. European style breakfast including meat and cheese platters, warm breads, coffee, tea, juice, yogurt and cereal. We stayed in the Antique room; had large hot tub on the outside patio. Located within reasonable driving distances to attractions such as Custer State Park and Mt. Rushmore. Note: If... More

Yes it is 30 miles from Rapid City but this has its advantages. Very friendly hosts. Christina and Hans were terrific. We stayed 3 nights. Very peaceful. Good base from which you can visit Mount Rushmore, Badlands National Park, Wall Drug Store and of course Bear Country USA. Try and get the LAKOTA ROOM. The African room was a little... More

It's tough to know where to start-the incredible hospitality, the great breakfasts, the perfect location... My wife and I stayed for several nights and opted to try several of the rooms. We loved them all. They were nicely appointed, very comfortable and none were a disappointment. Coyote blues is about ten minutes from Hill City and therefore, not far from... More

Love this place! We have been here 3 nights and 2 more coming. Cannot believe what the last reviewer said. She must be talking about Christine, the owner, who is nothing but welcoming and very warm. I guess "beauty is in the eye of the beholder" and I wonder what made that lady's eye so out of focus. At any... More

If you've never been to a bed and breakfast before definately pass on this one. We arrived and were immediately "greeted" by someone who I can only describe as pushy and borderline rude. We left soon after. If you are looking for an amazing place to stay check out K Bar S Lodge, it is amazing.

We stayed here for 6 nights and enjoyed every minute of it. We met Christina & Hans, the interesting and accommodating hosts. We met many other interesting people at breakfasts and loved the accommodation. We stayed in the Turkish room which has a secluded hot tub, from which you can drink in breathtaking views. The areas for guest use are... More

Recently stayed at Coyote Blues B&B and had a wonderful time. Anyone having stayed in a European B&B will find many similarities here. For one, the husband and wife are Swiss. For another, the breakfasts, which are plentiful, are very similar to those served in Europe. They include among other things, four types of lunch meat and four types of... More

Our family of 4 stayed here during our 3 day stay in the black hills. While we enjoyed Jewel Cave, Custer State Park and Mount Rushmore during the day this was a nice relaxing retreat from the hubbub of this area. Absolutely outstanding breakfast every morning. Maybe not typical American fare, but what a way to start the morning! Yogurt,... More

Found this place on Trip Advisor and booked for one night as part of our American road trip. The sylvan location proved extremely relaxing and an ideal base from which to explore Mt. Rushmore, Custer State Park and the Black Hills - without doubt one of our favourite nights of our 16 day vacation. Hanspeter and Christine were extremely welcoming... More
